Greens need rescue
Several greens have developed fungus and need immediate attention. The fairways were OK but several were spotty with fungus as well.
Greens need attention.

Reseed ASAP.
Great place for a quick 9
After all of the extremely hot weather, I was pleasantly surprosed to find Clearbrook golf course in good shape. It had apparently been well taken care of during the dry hot spell.
I alwaays find the staff friently and the atmosphere casual. As a result, I do enjoy coming to this golf course. I usually play 9 holes and walk. You can play 18 by looping back around and playing different tees. If you do get hooked up with other golfers, you will find them friendly and taking their game for what it is.
Nedt time you have a couple of hours, stop in and enj9oy.
Water park
Played at 11:30 am and they were watering the course during the entire time playing.

I feel that this course in its prime days would have been gorgeous.
I guess it's lack of funds or no motivation but the fairways are full of weeds growing in them and it's difficult to tell where the rough starts.
Just kind of sad to see a course that could otherwise be an absolute gem get to such state.
I had a great time.
In a spur of the moment decision, I decided to play a round and found some open tee times at Clearbrook. I started off on my own, but eventually caught up to another loner at the 4th tee, and we had a great time for the rest of the nine holes. Great weather and great conditions, except for a few greens that almost as much brown as green. But I would still recommend the course.
Clear #1 for Me
I always enjoy playing here. It's moderately difficult for my skill level which is perfect. Pro shop staff are great, prices are reasonable and being located in a retirement community, not very busy at my chosen time to play (late afternoon). Low-key vibe. Good riding carts too. It's my favorite local course.
