Great place to learn golf
If you're new to golf or just brushing up, Twin Brook is an excellent facility. The course is a 9-hole par 3, but some of the greens are tricky. There's 1 water hazard that runs across #4 and #5. Only problem is that sometimes the greens are covered with leaves or other schmutz from the trees- but that is a seasonal problem.
The driving range, teaching area, and shag bag area are great. There's a fantastic mini-golf for the little ones or just fun with a date. Inside the pro shop is well stocked, there's a club tech on-site and 2 teaching pro's with all the computers you could want.
If your handicap is above 5, you need to make Twin Brook part of your practice routine.
Great for kids
Perfect to bring my 11 year old son to play 9 holes.
Small but enjoyable
Great place to work the short game for a reasonable fee. Quick round and pace moved quickly.
The course is challenging for a par 3
The course and staff were friendly, however some of the individuals playing the couse leave alot to be desired. It seems a golf ball that is shot becomes the property of the group teeing off from other direction. The course is too congested and good for and narrow.
Hidden Gem
Course is excellent! It may just be a Par 3 9-hole course, but the staff is extremely friendly, and although its 9 holes, they let you play around twice. Carts were nice, some holes were as far as 180, and as short as 100 depending on which tees you played from. Greens are clean and nice, sorta fast but it was dry. Bunkers were also lacking much sand, were hard. The grass is not that nice, but for the money, its excellent.
no weekends
Do not go here on weekends. Went to work on my short game and it was so crowded with families that we left after 3 holes.
Excellent Training facility
I have been going to Twin Brook since being introduced to the game 6 years ago. The facilities are premier in the area. The 9 hole executive course is very well kept, and makes great use of most of your irons. A real treat for all ages.
