Mr
None for now too short of a course for me
Better than expected
I played here a couple years ago and was not impressed. However, this time around the course seemed to be in much better shape. Most fairways were in good shape. The greens and bunkers are well-kept. No beer cart, but beer and snacks being available for purchase at the turn is convenient. The course itself isn't very challenging, but a lot of the holes are dog-leg lefts, which does make it a bit more challenging for right-handed players. Overall the course is solid and the value is very good.
Nice layout
Course is a nice layout ,conditions keep me from giving 4 stars a lot of bare spots and crab grass on fringes , greens were in decent shape played midweek on a very nice day pace of play very good
Enjoyable day of golf!!
Course is tight especially on the front nine! Course has nice layout decent greens and tee boxes! Enjoyed playing the course!!
Course is in reasonably good condition
I heard about the couse from my golfing buddies.
I tried it for the first time. Ovelall, the course is challenging., reasonably maintained. The staff are friendly and accomodsting. By booking on Gol Now I was able to secure a very reasonable green fee and convenient tee time. I played on Knoll East. I heard that knoll west is much better course and is semi private.
A lack of attention here.
Knoll East is the public half of the Knoll Golf Club, a facility owned and operated by the Town of P:arsippany, I played the membership-based West course a couple of weeks ago, and it is superb.
The East course, not so much. The course is heavily booked, and our foursome teed off roughly 20 minutes after our scheduled time. The East course is wedged into a small plot of land, so the fairways are narrow and close to each other. Calls of "fore" are so frequent that the effect becomes comical. It's often difficult to tell the fairway from the rough. The greens are well-kept, but the bunkers are sometimes nearly devoid of sand (one off our foursome almost bent a club in the shallow sand) or, in at least four cases, have become home to some large aggressive wasps. There were limited water hazards, and those had mostly dried up.
As for amenities, other than a practice putting green and an outdoor awning that housed the snack facility, there wasn't much. If you can play West, I would recommend it, but not this one, I'm afraid.
Tight, slow course
Went on a hot Sunday morning. Starter was absent from the first tee, led to some confusion between groups. Teed off 30 minutes late. Pace was slow (3 hours for the front 9, we didn't even continue to the back) and the course is very tight - had a view of the clubhouse the entire time and you had to keep your head on a swivel for incoming errant shots. The course itself was in good shape but it was difficult to appreciate it with all the negatives previously mentioned.
Tight But Fun
Played on a brutally hot day so that helped keep people away. Had the course to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon. Overall, the course was fine. It was a bit burnt out in spots but the greens were all in good condition so I can't fault them for that. It does get tight in spots, there were plenty of times where I could see bottlenecks that would affect pace or errant shots becoming dangerous. I'd definitely come back, not a tough course to score on and you still use most clubs in the bag.
This golf course needs improvements
Quite packed course layout, some holes are divided by net, which means there is no space between two fairways. Hard to tell fairways from rough in many holes. Very low visibility of green from tee box.
I do not want to go back the course again, of course wouldn't recommend to my friends.
Wear a helmet...overpacked. Nice staff
I heard FORE!!! About 200 times. Was almost hit twice (no one yelled fore) tee boxes are on top of adjoining fairways...bad golfers aplenty. They squeezed in waaaaay too many 4somes. Course was in nice shape and the staff was really nice and pleasant. Maybe midweek golf would be better.
Short course but very nice
For $40 w/cart per person on a holiday, you just can't beat it. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all nicely manicured. Some parts of the rough need some attention, but overall, a very nice place to play for my skill level (I shoot mid-90's). Pace of play was good, although take note there are a lot of walkers which could slow things down on a crowded day. No driving range but they have a net you can use to warm up and a nice little putting green and a chipping area. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive for me to play there.
Rate of play slow
Imo ranger needs to keep groups moving, problem is there is no ranger ?
Started a round that had groups three golfs ahead and was slowed down by a group that watched every shot that group made.
5 hour round is not why I take a afternoon off. Course is average but way to many holes running side by side. Listened to four to many times for my liking.
Best part of course is the back nine.

Good hilly course
Don't expect to see too many pins from the tee box, most holes dog leg. Overall condition was good, cheap rate on GolfNow, I would play here again if I was in the area.
Lots of geese. Teeing off on 15 a Border Collie came tearing through the fairway chasing birds, it was pretty funny.
Short Course but Challenging
This is a course for the short hitter while also a course for the long hitter. It is perfect for people who are frustrated with long courses while tricky enough for the long hitter trying to score low. Was the perfect course for my fiancé and I to play together.
great golf atmosphere
Good people good course can't beat the deals and foods great
Knoll East , a place to play
I have to say, we enjoyed playing at the Knoll East even if the 9 holes were hampered by a VERY slow 2 some in front of us. We pasted them before the 10th hole and even had some great food duirng the break.. The second nine holes went very fast. Enjoyable outing. !!!
I have played the once before and would definitely go back !!
narrow course
it was good but all course was very short. it was very narrow so lots of peoples say 'Ball'!!!. food and beverage was good and price was fair.
Worth the Money for $20
Very short course with only 2 sets of tees- ladys and mens
Course is very short, nets on the first few holes which seem oddly placed
The front 9 isnt in great condition and holes are on top of each other, but the back 9 is more spread out and in better shape (my buddy said because of proximity to the road)
Overall a short course that played quick on a Friday afternoon. Not in great condition but good enough for $20
Not worth 54 bucks
Not worth the money very tight course very small greens fairways were hard as a rock and your ball rolls forever only way to get your ball to stick on the green was if you hit a 62degree wedge and sky it tee boxes were uneven and poorly maintained
Great day at course
Nice course to play Good pace, 4-some let us play thru. Staff friendly
