Foggy day
This course is always in great condition. We played under a blanket of fog and still enjoyed ourselves
2.5 hour frost delay
Long wait to play due to frost, they need to open the Cafe earlier so people can get coffee or something to eat during long delays. Proshop Staff never looks like they enjoy their jobs always grumpy.
Great Course
Great course, can be busy at times but I feel pace of play is reasonable also staff is great and course is always in great conditions.
A good course in good condition. Provides a fun round while providing a challenge.. The course won't beat you up or get you overly excited, but it won't put you to sleep either. Be hard pressed to find a course that has as many rounds played on it and in great shape. The greens seem simple but can get tricky depending on pin placement.. Over all this is a course is underrated and worthy of your time.
Pace was slow
3 groups of four , ahead of us, were playing too slow. We played here before and most of the time everyone’s pace was fine.
Ok but not again
Course is in great condition. However, I was disappointed by the redundancy of the holes. Lots of fairway and easy approach shots. Cant think of a single memorable hole / layout. Greens are wonky so makes getting a good score challenging.. Overall, not terrible for the $38 green fee, but will not be returning
Great shape, easy, but packed
The pace of play is always super slow but you would never know how many people play on it bc it’s always in such great shape. I’ve paid twice as much for rounds that are in way worse condition. Pennsauken is my go to course now bc it’s always in pristine shape
Great course, tough pins
Overall great course and very nice for price. Pin placement was a little ridiculous on some hole. Amenities were average. Could invest in better and more expensive hot dogs. Plan on playing again
Was more fun before the tunnel
The course was in nice shape. A little nicer and more interesting than what was once known as Iron rock' But i do miss riding the cart across the four lanes of Haddonfield Rd. instead of taken the tunnel to the 4th hole' as it lessens the thrill factor a tad. Why the chicken cross under road just doesn't make it. Hope to return soon.
Carts in by 7:00 - full price scam
I never write reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. A friend and I played this past Friday. 4:30 tee time. Had full expectations not to get all 18 in with the earlier sunsets. But hoped for 12-14 holes. The course was very backed up, we paused at just about every hole. As we attempted to tee off on 10, at 6:45pm, the ranger drives up and says that carts have to be in 15 min. Suggests we play 1,2 and 3 again so we could walk it. We waste 5 more min driving back to 1 only to see that those holes are full. So we drive back, waste another 5 min and we proceeded to play 10. And then in the middle of 11 we are told we must return our carts. I’m not a confrontational person, but I do make a comment that we weren’t told this upon purchasing our tee times. The ranger said “I only work here”- in an extremely rude manner. . At a minimum they could have mentioned this at the pro shop. We would have purchased 9 holes, instead of 18 and saved the money. The icing on the cake was the cart died on the ride in and we had to leave it on the side of 12 and walk the rest. All while we were watching others enjoy the course with at least 30 min of playtime left. It certainly wasn’t my best experience. And with a little bit of staff training it could have been completely alleviated.
