Quail Brook Golf Course
About
Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

Great Course
I have been Quailbrook for many years it is a great course .You should have some golf skills because it is challenging.
Solid track
Always love playing Quail Brook. Hats off the the ground crew! Mid March and the greens are perfect! Can’t wait to play again soon.
Great layout but slow play
Had to pass two foursomes playing from the tips when they weren’t.
The course was in great condition for December in New Jersey ! The greens were rolling fast and they were in excellent condition.
The bunkers had real sand in them and were properly maintained.
I would like to commend the groundskeeper for a job well done 👍
Top notch track
Wonderful conditions, greens unbelievable, bunkers had great sand and fairways with no leaves!!! Just a fun fairly difficult track but course was in amazing shape for November!!!! I will definitely be back!!
Good county course
Everything is excellent, but no water on the course.
Great condition!
It’s amazing to play this course in October before aeration or sanded greens. This course was perfect, and it was a perfect day.
Course as usual was in great shape. Slow threesome that quit after 9 had more than 2 holes open in front of them as there was no ranger to encourage them to move along.
QB Golf
Quail Brook is a nice tract., with well laid out golf holes. The condition of the course is very good. From tee to green. Pace of play was not a problem on the day we were there. Carts were unclean but ran well.
We had a very enjoyable round of golf.
Cheers to the Course maintenance crew, your efforts are appreciated.
great shape if you want to wait 4to 5 hours
All these county courses up there are all in good shape. All these courses there are mostly walking you have to pay extra for cart. I play alot of golf two or three times a week I don't no what it is today with players they hit drivers under two hundred yards and they will sit there every hole 250 or more out waiting for green to clear. Could some one tell me why this is one reason why it takes four half to five hours to play.I'm eighty years old and I sit there and wait for twenty year olds.If I wrong tell me I like to no
