Beckett Golf Club

Course has under gone changes from what I've heard. Seemed like a one man show at front, but very helpful with course. Rained for two day before and the course held up. Bunkers need work and greens weren't in the best shape. They surprisingly roll well with challenge. Paid more for course that would have been slop after weather the night before. Paid $36.00 for 830 tee on a Saturday, Definitely worth the price.

What a shame! Greens are in poor condition! Used to be in much better shape! It appears that the Course lost quite a few holes and what used to be a decent 27 Hole Tract is now barely more than 18 holes. Although not the most difficult around it had a couple of challenging holes! Won't be coming back!

I only paid 20 to play bc of golf now. But other wise it's 45 to other wise an the course isn't worth 45 to play there. It's a dump of a course.

The course has a great lay out. Unfortunately it is not kept well. Half the tee boxes were dirt, the greens were in terrible shape. The fairways were decent and the staff was friendly. For 25.00 it was worth it but couldn't see paying any more than that at any time. At one time this was probably a great course to play, but not any more.

Terrible fairways and putting greens were worse. I won't go back soon. Even the staff was unfriendly.

This course is not worth wasting the time or money

I played this course a couple of years ago and it was 3 sets of 9 holes and rather enjoyable. Now they have shredded one set of 9 to make room for a Driving Range which is pretty much a joke. They reconstructed an 18 hole course out of what was remaining of the original 27 hole arrangement and some holes don't even have clear paths to the next hole. One sign was actually drawn up with a marker or crayon pointing to where the next hole was. MOST fairways are in bad condition and the greens were a mess. This course should still be under construction or the prices should be halved for the condition the course is currently in. Whoever owns this course should be ashamed to charge as much as they do when it looks and plays the way it currently does. I will never be going back to Beckett again and suggest to anyone else to take a pass as well and spend your money at a number of other better courses in the immediate area for the same price. The only saving grace to this place was the bartender who was extremely friendly and made the turn between 9 & 10 at least somewhat enjoyable.

The course was in horrible shape from the tee boxes to the greens. They also had the sprinklers going on almost every hole and we went off at 8:15am so it made the hole experience dreadful.

The course has a lot of potential but will need a lot of time and money. At present the holes are scattered all over the place - no rhythm or reason. The condition was not very nice - some greens were burnt - the fairways were long and the rough was very long. the greens were very slow. On the plus side the holes can be a lot of fun if someone would give it TLC.

The course was in poor condition as they are currently redoing the course. However, fairways were in poor condition, barely mowed. The price was great and it was a fun day of golf, but not somewhere I will go back to anytime soon.

This was a 3- 9hole golf course. And is in transition to be 1 - 18 hole course. There wasn't many yardage markers on the course, nor was I able to use my golf shot app. To get yardage a via GPS, because they are transitioning I've to one course. It might be better in the near future,

ALSO, do not reserve a tee time during the week (mon-fri). Save the 10.00. Your group goes out when you all show up. No set time. Wish I had known they don't need reservations during the week.

We had an 8:30 am tee time. Staff was not friendly at all, cart was not clean we we picked it up, we removed the trash before using it. Course was ok , it rained the day and night before so there were a lot more water hazards than normal. Not bad for a former cow pasture. Glad we didn't pay full price.

Course maintenance was very poor. Fairways were barely noticeable from the rough. Greens were far from impeccable. Staff in morning were unknowledgeable.

The new course set up is cool. can't wait to see the driving range.

If this course was in my home state of Michigan it would be out of business unless it was $15-$20 on weekends. You can lose your ball in the fairway. $45 for this course is almost a crime

tee time for 2 walking rate $50, booked thru golfnow, when we arrived we were told no walking till noon on holidays, course was empty, what did it matter, they wouldn't honor golfnow tee time. Ended up paying $90 to ride, course not worth $90, thanks for nothing.

Greens were in very poor condition, water coolers were out on the course but empty, staff was very friendly but not a course worth the money.

got on for a great price. not pressured and course was in fairly good shape. staff not to friendly but I was there to golf not socialize ..

I have played this course more than once and for the most part it offers a good golf experience. My only complaint would be the difficulty in finding balls in the rough, and sometimes the fairway. Grass is a little thick in places but the greens are fairly good. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and play again for the right price. I read older reviews about poor golf carts, but it appears that they have since been replaced and the carts I have used were fine.

Arrived at tee time. There were no more than fifve cars in parking lot and sprinklers were running on all 3 courses.
Cashier told me I should be on the tee not checking in. "We have rules!" I was told.
When I asked for a copy of these rules she could not produce them.
Lady in pro shop apparently does not like golfnow customers. This is the second incident of this treatment by the staff at Beckett when using Golfnow. I've shown up there several times without a tee time #it is cheap# with no issues or attitude from the staff.
