Good Ex[erience
Overall a fun course with no two holes alike. Recent rain made for fairly wet conditions. Course conditions were above average, however it was a little rough around the edges.
enjoyable round
Fairways were mowed tight, greens putted true and decent pace. Some length, some short holes, good variety of par three's. Clubhouse and cart paths need help. Staff was great!
Just ok
Cart path are terrible. Grass was just cut and left grass debris
around the front of the greens
Love this course
Great layout and excellent condition always a good test of golf
Golf north of the city
Purple hawk is a fun stop and play course on the way up north to the cabin. It is a good layout with some challenging holes. The greens are in good shape and role well. I was even able to get a hot dog at the turn, it almost felt normal.
Nice course with hit deal pricing
Excellent course, nice layout, challenging greens, early in the season so they were fast but in great shape. Not sure we would have played at full price but the hot deal price made it more reasonable.
Tight but fair
The course looks tighter than it is with plenty of trees and water areas. Most holes have a decent landing area to play to though. Greens nice and fair though a little thin and mark up pretty easily. A lot of back and forth holes can lead to the awkward waiting for the guys on the wrong hole to take their shot.
Course review
The course was in great shape. The staff were awesome. Food was great. The greens were fast but that is alright with me. I really did enjoy my first time playing there and look forward to returning to play again
Great course and value
The Hawk is a no frills course without a club house or fancy restaurant. The off course facilities could use updating. The course is in respectable condition. If you’re looking for golf over a full experience, the Hawk is a good course.
No blind shots here
The course is player friendly and affordable. It was in great shape with several challenging holes. Enjoyed it and many holes gave the ladies an advantage that my wife really appreciated. We will be back.
Payed 18.00 thru golfnow thatis the most I would pay to play this course. Fairways cut but clippings all over the ground cart paths will shake your drink up. Again would not pay more then 18.00 to play
