Severe sloped greens
It's like trying to putt on glass, and don't dare to be above the hole.
Unexpected pleasure
Unexpected pleasure
I was really surprised to have a good, challenging course for a reasonable price with cart included. My only issue was the rough was super long and slowed our play trying to find balls just a foot off the fairways. The green speeds were incredibly fast. I would wonder what they are in mid Summer. The pace was good with absolutely no one pushing us. The course has some water and sand was typical for our area. Had to break the crust in some traps. Cart paths need a complete overhaul and tee box direction markers are non existent. I have already referred 2 neighbors to play here.

Never disappoints... Livingston is a must play..
Livingston CC is always in great shape, staff is always friendly. It was extremely windy which made it a bit more challenging, which was fine. I did get my first ever hole in one on #9 (9 iron..) during my round.
I've done many GolfNow deals here and always treated well by staff and course is in great shape, especially for these late fall rounds.
Tough greens
The course was in great shape. The layout was pretty forgiving but the greens were very difficult.
Excellent
Great track. Course was in excellent condition and the greens were amazing
Great value
Great course for the price! Greens were fast and challenging. Will definitely play again!
Nice Coarse
Fairways are finally starting to dry out a little and can get a little more roll.
Good Day
Our 4some played 2 holes before thunderstorms rolled in so had a beer at the bar and caught up with each other for 90 minutes before the rain finally stopped. Expected to collect rain checks but the pro told us the course would be fine and sure enough, we went back out and the course had handled the rain well and we had no issues. Zipped around the course and it was in surprisingly good shape. Some challenging holes with multi-tiered greens. Great value.
Hidden gem
Second time playing here first time was windy as usual at this course. Second was later in evening wind died down and course was in excellent shape. Quick true green but play everything short and let it run up. Restaurant food is above par
Great day of golf
The course was challenging, and in good shape considering the weather we have had this year. The place of play was great. Played a round of golf with my wife in 3 hours. Highly recommend!!!
Must Play
Course is a easily a 4 star.
Despite the drought, course was in excellent condition. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a great time and enjoyed playing with Bill and Patrick. The course was great for a senior golfer. I will play here again when I return to the area. Thanks Livingston CC.
This course has very difficult greens.
It's like putting on linoleum! If you are above the hole, good luck two putting from there. None of the greens were receptive to being hit in the air, without leaving a single ball mark to repair.
Challenging Course
I like the variety of the holes: short and long par 3s and 4s. Due to lack of rain, parts of the rough have little grass and the ground is very hard.
Small greens, pitched, way too fast
I played this course 45 years ago while on a college team when it was only nine holes. Though a much better course today with the new nine, the routing has created at least one green that slopes impossibly front to back. I general, the greens are way too small to deserve the green speeds we typically find. The course was in very good shape in May 2016 after a mild winter, but the green speeds make it very difficult to truly enjoy. On the other hand, the bar/grill is to be commended for great food.
Oh but the Greens....
This is a fine course that is the beautiful valley which is called Geneseo. The fairways are cut perfectly, the rough is not terribly thick, the hazards are small and few and the course is better to ride than to walk...That being said the greens are way to fast. Simple putts turn into an adventure and what seem to be a nice approach usually ends up rolling off the green. Was by myself on this one...Overall the value was good, the staff was helpful and friendly and a good time was had by all....but it would have been a whole lot better if it weren't for those greens...
