Pine Hills Country Club
About
Pine Hills Country Club sprawls cross 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. The golf course plays long at over 7,000 yards from the back tees but it is a playable and fair test. It is challenging as well with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. Towering, mature pines also line narrow fairways. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th. This dogleg left is one of the many holes with water and it also features a green that is severely sloped from back to front. While the golf course is the main attraction, Pine Hills is also known for having the area's best public practice facility. The club boasts a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.

Reviews
Pin Hills
Nice course good shape for April. Greens recently airrated so very bumpy.
March at Pine Hills Golf Club
Course was in good shape from the rough winter. The greens were not reading true. Aerated greens and are going to reaerate again. Green were fast considering for March. Some fairways were roped off because you cant drive your cart there. Overall the course is in great shape for this early in the season. Give the greens couple more weeks. They will read true and run true.
Early Spring golf
Course was in good shape - greens surprisingly fast and true. We had a great day and played in 4 hours.
Nice Day For November!
Course in good shape for late in the season. Greens consistent speed. Fairways good shape. Hard to find your ball cause of the leaves.
Air rated green
The greens had just been air rated and while this is needed we should have been told before we booked.
Terrible day playing golf no matter how much it cost.
Also the greens could have been cut which they weren’t, overall very disappointing
Always a good time
How come this course can stay in top shape all year long, and others just a few miles away have not been a more to do it?
What a great day
We play many courses on the North Fork of Long Island. First time here. The course and greens were in fantastic shape. The clubhouse was well equipped and the bar and the food were great. Will be back.
Horrible
Would not recommend. Starter was rude Andy yelling across holes, pace of play was brutal. Two some stuck behind TWO two somes of older females and in front of a four some. Patiently waited all day making sure not to hit up on the women as any respectful golfer would. Starter asks us what our hold up is and why we are taking so long. Left on the 15th hole. Not coming back all because we didn’t want to hit up on the women.
Worth the trip
Tees fairways. Greens and bunkers were terrific. Early tee time and played under 4 hours great value. Great day.
Good outing
Had a foursome that tee off at 7:10
We had good weather and played at a good pace. The course was in great shape. We enjoyed our day and finished off with a good burger and some cold beers.
Great experience
The course is in great shape the pace of play is as good as there is and they treat you with respect and kindness probably the best value on all of Long Island I can’t wait to play there again
Dear Mr. Mcallister,
I am sorry you had such a bad experience when visiting our golf course. Unfortunately we are unable to cut for a few days after aeration due to the sand on the greens. There was an error on the internet only on the trade times (Hot Rate), but on all the times offered by the golf course had an aeration notification/alert. If you have any outstanding issues please contact GolfNow customer support. Thank you for your input, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
