Very nice spring day
It was a more enjoyable round because there were never easy courses and many challenges.
Great Course
Course was in great shape for being winter! Greens are well maintained.
Course in pretty good shape. Only problem I had was that when booking there seemed like a lot of open times. Figured I could breeze around. Since weather was great I guess the times filled in. Would have been a very slow round if I had teamed up with others. By myself was able to jump around and find some openings although I had to play several holes for a second time.
Course in Great Shape, however
The course is in great shape.
The staff is friendly and courteous.
The carts are old, smelly and need new transmissions.
The carts should be in a scrap heap.
There were no rangers to facilitate pace of play.
I love this place!
I first played Wallkill when it first opened. I was impressed with the fact that every hole is positioned by itself. The only time you see other golfers is if it backs up. The course has matured beautifully over the years, and although it has some short holes, they are all challenging. You need to manage the course and use every club in the bag, but if you can do that, you can score.
