Broadacres Golf Club
About
Broadacres Golf Club is situated in southern Rockland County on the border between New York and New Jersey. Its convenient location allows for easy access from both states and it's only a 20-minute ride from midtown Manhattan. The golf course has nine holes with an alternate set of tees for an 18-hole round. The layout sprawls across rolling hills dappled with towering oak trees. The golf course incorporates a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. With narrow, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, accuracy will serve you well on this course. You'll face several doglegs and there are strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. Broadacres Golf Club's signature third hole is one of the toughest holes in the area. This par 3 plays up a steep hill to an undulating green.

Keep it secret
Great track for a quick 9 holes.
Joseph and the other staff members are outstanding.
Nice walk
Great to get in 9 holes in 2 hours. Good course to practice.
Staff was great. Course in good shape . Good bang for the buck.
Nice course
Positives first - really nice course, especially for beginners. Very challenging and nice layout. Played with a threesome, great dudes. MUST HAVE COLLAR SHIRT, I'm guessing that's a Rockland rule, I wore an underarmour shirt, no collar and had the 2 pro shop employees say something to me.
Negative - staff are not welcoming at all. I really don't go to course for the staff, just point me to first tee and keep it pushing.
Overall great course for beginners and I'll go back, I recommend.
Need to improve tee boxes
Course has nice layout and good challenge from tee to green. Greens are OK, but can be improved by people repairing divots. Only criticism would be the tee boxes. Most were uneven, and not well maintained.
Solid Weekday 9
Overall had a great time playing this course on a Tuesday morning. Great course to walk, minimal elevation change. Some right fairways, a challenging par 3 (and an easier one I botched). I can see how weekend golf might prove to be a long round, but that’s any public course these days.
Overall course is in very nice condition. Fairways and greens very well maintained. Rough manageable. Only one maybe two tee boxes that require a little more love. But overall I look forward to playing here again.
Consider Your Options
Ultra slow place (2.45 hours!!)...due to mostly 'high handicap', beginners, ignorant young kids being obnoxiously immature & disrespectful to others & poor etiquette in general. First disappointment of the season....
