Best greens I've played on all year, I didn't eat or drink at the course so I couldn't give them a satisfactory and food or beverages
This course is a little bit far from my home in Syracuse, but well worth the drive. The layout is challenging but fun. The condition this year is great! and now that they have a "hot deal" on golf now for 14 dollars its a no brainer, you gotta get out here to play.
This course ha a great layout with the right mix of water, sand, trees, hills, layup holes, and doglegs. We found it to be in great condition and reasonably priced. We ate after our round and the food was served quick, hot, and tasty.
We had a tee time following a tournament. ( Bad mistake to go there on our part) They had a shotgun start & teed off a little late. There was two of us & we were put after a threesome who were somewhat slow. The course was pretty wet (as most courses this year) & the greens had ball divots from the tournament players who did not repair them. The greens are tough at Dutch anyway. It a nice course, especially when you get a Golf Now deal, just not on a tournament day.
Good value for the money
Nice course a little challenging. Had to use all my clubs. Quiet country setting.
Not Fancy, but Very Good
The greens separate this course from the ordinary. They are large and in excellent condition and provide plenty of challenge, especially the "turtleback" ones. There is an interesting variety of holes and some elevation changes. Water hazards come into play on nine holes and wooded areas can catch wayward shots. If you love natural beauty but don't care about manicured tees, flower beds, and a fancy clubhouse, you will love this course.
numerous creeks and ravines to consider
First time playing the course. Enjoyed the challenge and scenic view. A great price for 18 holes. Also saw a baby fox.
Played this course for 25 yrs. excellent greens, slower than normal. Course management key to a good round. If you like country and peaceful setting, this is it. Worth the drive.
Nice layout and very well maintained.
Dutch Hollow is one of the finest courses in the area. Bring a lot of balls as the creek that meanders around will eat some up on you. The course is extremely well maintained, with excellent green conditions as well as lovely aprons leading to each green. Fairways are always well mowed and the rough is very manageable. I love the pace of play and the staff is wonderful. Great value!!!
All around nice course
Course was in great shape. The greens were awesome.. Fairways too since the recent rain in the area. Brought a friend for her first time and she loved the course. Can't beat the deal thru golf now! Great day overall!
Beat value I found so far in the eastern finger lakes
The course is picturesque and each hole is unique. Some layup strategy holes. the greens hold , not fast greens but roll good. Newer carts. The grill room staff and food is top notch. Might just go there for lunch and a good time. Nice practice area. Close to the town of Skaneateles which is a quaint town on the lake with great shops and food. A definite play again.
