About
Located just minutes from historic Rhinebeck, Red Hook Golf Club is nestled in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley. The course is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels and diverse enough to appeal to anyone's tastes. There are holes that are ideal for long hitters but you'll also have the opportunity to work on your irons and short-game skills. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and a few water hazards also come into play, most notably on the par-5 third hole where a lake sits in the center of the fairway. Red Hook Golf Club finishes with a tough par 4 that requires a tee shot over a deep hollow to a sloped fairway with trees and a pond lining the left side. After that, you'll be faced with an elevated green protected in front by steep bunkers.

Very nice laid back course
Open fairways that are deceptively difficult to stay on. The course is in excellent condition.Greens are excellent, but fast. Most upscale public course in the Valley. Other golfers are friendly and courteous .Love to play here and will make it a habit next season.
The restaurant is great, friendly, good food, good prices and reasonably quick service.

Great course
I've played this course on and off for the past few years, and the conditions of Tee's-Fairway's-Greens are always in great shape.. The reason for not rating excellent, I did not use the dinning facilities.
Nice course once the aerated greens heal
Played using a golfnow special and got a great price. The course had been aerated within the past week so the greens were a bit off. Otherwise, it is an enjoyable track. Not too difficult but also makes you hit a few shots. The greens seem to be on their way back to full strength and, within the next week, I think this will be a deal at twice the price I paid.

Bamboozled
You asked... course was great. However, I made the reservation on Golfnow, price $40.00 (Save 33% in red letters). Got to the course: $40.00 has been the price all season. Big savings. Now the news: front nine closed for aereation; Proshop says Golfnow informed several days ago, yet nothing mentioned on Golfnow. Had to play the back nine twice. Yet I have to pay Golfnow $4.98 for the reservation? Next time I'll just call the golf course I want to play and skip the middleman.

Nice Course
Challenging course especially the back nine section through the woods. Very nice staff. Course is in very god shape with very good greens. Very much worth playing at the right price. If you get a discount go you won't be disappointed. Kitchen was closed when we finished so cannot comment on restaurant.
Excellent Course
One of the best tracks in the Hudson Valley. Course condition was very good. Greens were soft and smooth with challenging contours and slopes.
Challenging course for the mid- to high-handicapper. Doglegs place a premium on accuracy and planning. Lots of trees to avoid. Course length is manageable from the white tees.
Other golfers on the course were friendly and considerate, as was the clubhouse staff.
Overall, a very positive experience at a semi-private facility that represents the game very well.

Great semi-private course that is very well maintained. Very scenic. Relaxed atmosphere. Golfers always seem to be polite and pace is appropriate.
$20 deal of the year
I've been playing this course for years this was the 1st time I got a hot deal on golfnow and $20 w/cart can't beat that.
Great course
Awesome course and well maintained.
Only downside are the bunkers which seem to be hardly maintained.
Otherwise greens and fairways top notch so stay away from the sand traps.

Top of the line.
In my opinion this course is one of the best I've played in the Hudson Valley. There are tough holes but no holes that are hard as a gimmick to say the course had hard holes. You hit a good shot and you are rewarded. Bad shot ... I am looking forward to playing Red Hook again when I am in the area.

Course is in fantastic shape. Greens excellent. Good pace of play. Definitely worth the price. Hidden gem in Dutchess county.

The course was in excellent shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. Carts were in excellent shape. Restaurant was relaxing and food very good.

Great course
My husband and I have been playing this
course for many years. The staff is always
friendly and the course is usually in great condition.
The pace of play is usually around 4 hours which
is great for a weekend day. It is a challenging
course however the par 3's are fairly easy.
Great Golf Course & Excellent Customer Service
My wife and I took advantage of the great deal on golfnow and went and played here at Redhook and were very impressed with the clubhouse staff and their professional and friendly customer service. The driving range made it easy to warm up. The course was in great shape along with being challenging enough for myself and playable for my wife. I definitely recommend this course for anyone who wants to play a great course and be greeted by a great clubhouse staff.
