Hope you like dog legs
Fun, interesting course. We played when it was a bit muddy so it was a little frustrating to no fault of the course’s own. Greens and bunkers need some work though.
Huge improvement!
I had not played this course in a few years because it used to be in rough shape. What a difference! Beautiful greens, fairways were in great shape as well as most of the T boxes. The only issue is there are plenty of woods that are not cleared of brush so a ball in.there is likely lost. But then shouldn't be there in the first place!!
Great course
First time here, was definitely worth the trip. Great deals, friendly staff and a fun course. I will come back for sure.
A Perfect day for golf
The weather was perfect for golf. The course was in good condition, ,,,Place of play was slow. This course can be a real challenge if you play from the wrong tees. Maybe that should be stressed to golfers or help them match their handicaps to the tees that match their abilities
A really nice course
My first time playing this course, so I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The course is in great shape. Although the course is fairly flat, the greens undulate, most putts have some bends.. The fairways are good, but if you miss the rough is tough. There a couple of long par 3's but that just added to the challenge. The beverage cart service was excellent, friendly and we saw the cart 3x during our outing. I highly recommend this course.
Worth playing a couple tines
This is actually a really nice golf course the layout a spectacular pace of play is usually very good just make sure you eat lunch or breakfast before you go not much of a selection for food or drinks after if you’re around
In the Regular Rotation
I usually play Mohawk River 4-5 times per year, it is a challenging course, even though it is somewhat flat. Is an easy walk if you usually walk.
Slow Play, Aerated Greens, no relief from Staff
It took us 3 hours to play 10 holes of golf 20-30 minute waits on many tees
Did not see a ranger on the course.
No idea where the bottleneck was, but that!’s not my job to figure out.
We quit after 13 holes.
No relief from pro shop. Their answer is that it is a public course, and you might get slow play out there
I told them that a ranger is needed, and that I was going to let golf now know about my dissatisfaction. They told me to write whatever I want, so here it is.
One of my favorite go to courses...
I have played this course at least a dozen times. One of my favorite go to courses for a tee time at fair green fees. Course is in good condition as the folks that manage it do their best to keep it up...Honestly it is a pretty nice course!
