Hard course hard conditions
This place is pretty tough and knew that before playing here. The price wasn't bad for a fall weekend for only $15 for walking 9 holes. Though right off the bat I noticed the conditions here weren't great. The fairways were OK but the greens were bad. They had fertilizer pellets all over and big aeration holes too. The aeration was suposively done early September but they appeared to be done a week prior and none of the greens had the same speed. Its cheap and probably better in the summer, but when you golf here be sure not to bring Pro V1s because you will loose a bunch because its a tight and challenging course.
Very friendly, very accommodating, truly felt that we were members for the day. Pretty nice . Beautiful little town just under the course- more like New England than Massetusetts
. Lovely afternoon. J P
Good fairways I love the golf carts, the carts have a full led color screen which shows the yards and tee locations. Great staff to help you out with anything you need
Nice test
Challenging little course. Nice conditions for price.
Clubhouse, bev cart selections and snack bar were poor
Would play here again
The course was in great condition. Most holes are right in front of you, a few holes may have required some local knowledge for placing your tee shot. Greens were rolling nice and almost all the greens had some "character", that is, they all seemed to have plenty of breaking putts!
These greens are not flat!
Played in terrific weather. The course was in great shape and the greens where rolling well. As a first time player at this course, I didn't find there were too many "local knowledge" holes. Everything is pretty much right in front of you. Would certainly play here again.
Wild Wood is Wild!!
What a great course! The hills, the vistas, the grounds were all top notch. In early spring, courses can littered with sticks, uneven greens, or uncut fairways. Wild Wood was not that course. It is very hilly, so walking would be a challenge. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Great conditions for mid-April
Given that it's mid-April and we received lots if rain last week, the course was in great shape! Fairways were being cut, only a few places where I had to clean my ball before hitting. Quite impressed!
