Good greens make for a fun time

Adams Pointe was not exactly what I was expecting. Way more elevation change than I thought would be on the course. The overall layout was well done with a lot of good solid holes. A few that were not my favorite kind of holes, but that’s not necessarily bad.
The greens were very nice, especially for early March. They were smooth, fast, and interesting to putt on.
Since it was early March, the conditions should be taken with a grain of salt. However, since the fairways are bent grass, I would assume that they would struggle in the hot Missouri summers.
All in all, I believe it is a good fun golf course. If you’re in the area and want to have a fun time and make a few birdies, Adams point is a good place to go.

A return visit

Played here several years ago and found it to be a fun and interesting course. I played again recently and still found it fun and a bit challenging. Honestly I wanted to play a few different courses while visiting KC but because the other courses do not update or post anything on their calendars, I found those courses to be filled with events during my stay. Oh well, I liked Adams Pointe before, why not try it again. It didn't disappoint. I found it to be in very good shape. If I would have remembered some of the holes from the previous time I played I think I could have scored better. Staff was friendly. Starter let us go early and immediately put a twosome behind our 4 some. Not very good planning and we immediately let them play through. Still an enjoyable round.

Course in Poor Shape

Don't waste your money on this course until they have time to recover the fairways. Too much rain and heat "fried" large sections of several fairways. Almost all have large areas with just clumps of grass. Greens are good, however.

Great Course

Excellent public course and good for all skill levels. Rolling terrain makes this challenging, fairways in above average shape and not too narrow. No houses along course. Greens are above average difficulty and in good shape for a public course. Sand comes into play and is fairly well taken care of. Electric carts are nice but can walk. Service is great and the clubhouse is nice. Good hot dog at the turn. Good beer specials. Airplane bottles of popular alcohol also available on the cart. Would play this course again.
