The Links at Greystone

Always liked this course, one of two top courses in greater Rochester. Played today and conditions are as good as it gets. Fairways, bunkers, greens comparable to private country clubs. Kudos to the pro, grounds crew and all!

We had an overall.great experience! The course is in excellent condition and the staff was outstanding!! The grounds are beautifully landscaped! We definitely will be back!

This is probably the best all-around public golf facility in Rochester. The course is always in great shape and proves to be a challenge especially in tough conditions or when the fescue is grown out. Excellent layout- every hole is unique (unlike other local courses). I always enjoy my time here and the golf staff/ bar service is top notch.

Thee course is in fantastic condition considering all the rain we have had.The fairways are excellent and the greens as always true and fast. The staff and the greens keeper keep this course in the best shape .I would recommend that you play this course you will not be disappointed after the shape it’s in and the challenges.I am proud to call this course my home course.Thanks to the staff.

First time playing greystone, overall great experience. Layout of course was spread out and very scenic Double green on 9/18 is a nice touch with 18 a spectacular finishing hole. Both challenging and fair for experienced and beginner golfers.

GPS in carts was great especially being new to the course. Overall conditions were very good greens rolled true and very well kept.

Staff was very friendly and food and drink prices were very reasonable.

Overall great experience, very fun course to play with the staff making it s fun and smooth day. Highly recommend to any golfer will be back for sure!

Greystone is one of my all time favorite courses. There have been several improvements to the golf course over the past few years, including new GPS carts. The greens are ALWAYS in immaculate shape and the 19th hole never disappoints. Friendly staff and great customer service. I play Greystone any chance I can!

This golf course has everything! It's challenging for the good golfers and offers very fair front tees for the lesser ability golfer, and very good experience for any woman golfer. The course condition is the best of any public course I've played and you can tell the maintenance staff puts a lot of pride into their work.Anyone will enjoy the 19th hole there with a great pro shop and bar room staff. I strongly recommend playing this course if you get the opportunity!

Greystone is one of the top 2 or 3 public golf courses in the Rochester, NY area.
Great links layout. Fairways and greens in great shape.
BUT...
Today we were VERY disappointed with the condition of the tee boxes!
Sparse grass, broken tees lying all over the place (many more than can accumulate in one day), divots not filled in...in what looked like several days' worth because of the way they were in a line...every few feet away from each other from front to back on the tee box.
Doesn't anybody at on the greens staff see this...or care?
Eagle Vale, which costs a whole lot less to play, has better maintained tee boxes.
This was a $65 round so I expect the whole course to be in tip top condition.
Greystone failed in meeting that expectation.
It's the little things that make a first-class facility.
You would never see this at Ravenwood.

Definitely worth playing here, great layout and conditions. Challenging but fair.

It's rare to have a public course of this stature that is not only affordable but challenging. The course is kept in great shape and the staff are very accommodating. The view from the 18th looking in is beautiful.

this is by far the best public course in upstate new York
I have been in a league there for 7 years and the condition of the course is always perfect. I never get tired of playing there, in fact I go there to play 18 on weekends! if you have never played this course you are missing out!!

My favorite public course in the Rochester area. Worth the extra drive to the country. Beautiful kept greens, very challenging, and a great staff! A must play if you are in the area!

Have played golf courses all over the country and this course compares favorably with all of them. Trying to get friends to do a golf trip to Rochester. If they come, this will be one of the courses I would have them play

The Links at Greystone is the top public course in the Rochester area where there are several other great and affordable public courses including Ravenwood and Mill Creek.

Course is in great shape and plenty of challenges on the greens.

This is the best golf in Western New York. Superb conditioning. Challenging with great views but very playable for all skill levels. Very friendly staff, good food and drink options. Try the Cranberry Wedge on a hot day. Nine and Dine options on weekend evenings is a great value.

Without question, the best public course in the area.

Challenging layout but not overly so. Greens are very good. The staff, everyone from the GM to the rangers are friendly. Cute cart girls!

Not recommended for walking as there is some pretty good elevation change especially on the front.
