Other Courses in Kansas City Mo. area
Its a shame that we have lost the opportunity to play other courses i.e., Hoots Hollow, Country Creek. To bad you couldn't hold it together. Fun courses to play, just as Royal Meadows is.
Once again an excellent course. The staff is so friendly and much appreciated. The pace of play for a fair weather day during the winter was as expected even better. although two holes were close the course conditions were excellent. A very scenic course and I highly recommend.
Nice Course
This is a very cool, straight forward, old school course that golfers of all levels would have fun on. Every tee has four to five boxes so all players can be challenged. This course has a pretty constant prevailing wind, which ups the challenge. This was my first time here, and I definitely will come back to play this fun course again!!
Hidden gem
This course always plays fast and lets an average golfer score low. I found it to be in the best shape I ‘ve Seen in a year.
Play It Again!!
This was our multiple time in playing this course for its scenic views and course layout. What a great course to challenge each of your drives, approaches and chipping. Do you think this course is too easy; try the 18th par five and then decide. We will play it again!!
Fantastic Day!!
What a wonderful course. The greens and fairways were perfect. Very scenic and forgiving for errant shots. The spacing between tee times were calculated perfectly allowing for a comfortable round with a foursome in front and twosome behind. The staff were very accommodating. I am ready to. book my next round there.
Just Okay
This is a Great Life course and like many Great Life courses, the maintenance is below average. Sand on the greens, stripes across the fairways, being in the fairway or the rough didn't really matter.
Slow play
This course can be played by 4 average players in less than 4 hours, many of the groups in front of us just didn't understand that you need to keep pace with the group in front of you...Marshalls need to help ...
Average Great Life Course
The course needs work. Great Life courses seem to be just under par in that way. The fairways need work and the tee boxes are pretty bad. But the staff was great and it was easy to get on the course. It was basically a get what you pay for kind of course.
Florida visitor
Slow play with 2 groups waiting on most tee boxes and no marshalls. Tee boxes bad shape and fairways need help. Traps unplayable. Good news is greens are the best feature. Low rates attract beginners, golfers who play 1 or 2 times year, and seniors. Will never play this course again.
UnGreat Life
Every course that Great Life has bought were absolutely ruined. Royals Meadows has made a comeback. They have finally done some work on the tee boxes. They are not perfect but better than pure sand they used to be.The sand traps are playable, although they were rain filled today. The fairways were in good condition. The re-sodding is paying off. Still striped but playable. The greens in good condition. A little woolly and the holes are not sharply cut. Grass grows over the edge of the hole. A great value, hard to lose a golf ball, and plays very fast.
Overall a good stay.
Course is in good shape. Some crabgrass on t boxes. Overall good day.
Great deal
Hot and dry the day I played, but got around in 3 hours and 30 minutes. Greens were fine, tee boxes could use some work , overall a great deal.
Course rating
Enjoyed my round on Monday, the was in great shape, pace of play was good, course staff very friendly
Shot building course
Great course for working on your game. Two of my 3 lowest rounds were recorded here. Greens always in good shape, medium speed. Fairways good except in really
hot weather.
Royal Meadows
