Great Layout
Course can play a little tight in some areas but its a really great layout overall. A lot of interesting holes and variety. Greens were in great shape. Only major complaint was that they have taken the water coolers off the course. Hopefully they'll put them out as it gets warmer.

Nice layout and scenic
I've played this course numerous times and always found it to be in nice shape, with nice views and reasonable. It has decent pro shop, putting greens and restaurant/lounge. Easy access off of the Sprain Parkway and 87.

Fun Course
Fun course with some blind shots and challenging blue tees. Course condition is average due to beat up greens, broken tees all around the tee box and unraked bunkers. Most of the staff are friendly except for the crusty guy who works the golf carts …dude needs to retire or find a happier job. Put a little bin by the tee box so people can put their broken tees somewhere!

Great twilight round
Love this play as I was able to play 17 holes in 3hrs. Only one hole was unavailable/unplayable but the course is in very good condtions. I will always come back to Sprain!!!

Etiquette
Starter tolerated a person waiting to tee off loudly teaching another how to swing standing on back of tee ground while we were teeing off and talking continued despite request to stop.
All other encounters were pleasant and according to ettiquite defined in Rules of Golf

Temporary Greens
There were 7 temporary greens for the day. Totally ruined the day of golf and that is really hard to do. They should have just closed for the day but I know they are money hungry. Very disappointed

Reckless golfers and incompetent ranger
To those who value their safety, avoid this course. Today I had experienced a frustrating round that I never imagined would happen on a course. While playing, the group behind us intentionally had hit into us multiple times, admitting to the ranger it was 100% intentional. The ranger chose to let the reckless golfers that hit into us to continue to play and the response we received was play faster- we played 18 holes in less than 3 hours and 15 minutes, how much quicker can we get?? There were groups ahead of us as well. With this course being public I would like to warn the public of the unsafe conditions and lack of care for safety on the course, just looking to run through people on the course and get their $$. Would not recommend to anyone unless you want the potential for a head wound. Very unprofessional and lacking in character

Horrible Day/ Never Again
Walked thru the door and nobody looked up. Checked in like I was disturbing them at 3:00pm
Played the 1st hole by myself and was the brought out a 16 year old to play with. Why? The place was EMPTY. Why do I need a partner. It’s EMPTY. The kid should’ve been able the play the 1st hole. Nobody asked me if I wanted a partner. Ran into Shamrock ☘️ pants and Knickers man on the ninth hole and decided I didn’t need a 3 1/2 hour back nine watching Ralph Kramdon & Ed Norton putt around. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. GOOD RIDDANCE.
Ps……Had to give it 1 star. Survey wouldn’t allow 0 stars. That’s what it deserved
