Great day
Osage National is a well KSU’s our course with 3 Distinct 9. River. Flat and wide
Mountain 9 is aptly named. Links 9 is combination. Very interesting holes.
5 tee boxes so you can pick your poison. Greens role true and fairways are super
July Play
Rain the previous night forced cart path only for the entire round. Not the best situation but still OK. Greens and T boxes were is good shape. Fairways too.
Overall a good value for the money.
Osage National
Great course, be sure to play the”Mountain “ layout
Mountain River
Beautiful layout on the river course. Plennnnty of shade on this course so it’s no biggie on a hot day. Had some nice signature holes and was pga distance from the back tees so it suites all handicaps. Greens were beat up on mountain course but very smooth on the river.
Bang for buck
The course was in great shape. Challenging but not too difficult for a bogey golfer. Would definitely recommend
Great place!
Started on the mountain and finished links. Mountain is tough but not impossible and need to make those perfect shots. Staff knowledgeable and friendly show up early enough to ask some questions about it before you start.
Have come here for many years and the course has continued to grow and get better every year.
Best course at the lake
I don’t even want to give a great review because I want less people on the course when I play! Tees, fairways and greens are in perfect condition. Great views. Great layout. Not extremely challenging if you hit the driver a long way so you can go low. I can’t comment on the restaurant since it was closed at the beginning of COVID-19 and I didn’t eat anything there today. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. To me it’s the best course at the lake of Ozarks.
Booking
I tried booking on Golfnow and saw that the credit card information they had was incorrect
when I first booked. So I tried to cancel and rebook with the right credit card and ended up double booking. I finally got one canceled. When I arrived at the course this morning they did not have my tee time. They were very nice and worked us in.
Links/river
I love this course for several reasons. Mostly wide open fairways when you tee off. It’s hard to lose a ball or go OB. The greens are in great shape. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The mountain course is slightly more challenging in my opinion and the links is the least with mostly wide open shots with an occasional layup or target (for dog-leg) tee shot. I’ve paid more or about the same for several courses at the lake that are not as good as Osage National. It’s my new favorite course at the lake. FYI- they have three nine hole courses and you play two of the three for your 18.
Go play somewhere else
From the get-go the first tee had four groups of two waiting to tee off. Complete and utter chaos. There were multiple groups of five or six. You wouldn’t think a Wednesday morning would be a 4 1/2 hour round (for a 2 some with there own carts)! The course conditions were excellent, but the place of play was absurd. Although, a group of five was kind enough to let my twosome go through, we caught up to a five some again that made remarks of how slow the golf course was. After waiting an hour and 45 minutes to play six holes, we jumped a head and there was daylight! Not a single group in front of them. Go play old Kinderhook or the cove if you were looking for a quality, fast pace round.
great course, poor weather
the 2 fair ratings were because of the weather , we love the course
Beautiful day
Beautiful day to be on the course for March 1st. Greens were kept well. Pace was quick even with part in the course being cart path only.
Best course on the lake for the money
Best course on the Ozarks for the money! I prefer river and mountain it makes you switch up your game mid round to think a little different about shot placement! Go play this course....
