The greens will take some time to recover after being punched a couple of weeks ago.

Booked with Golf now - very easy. no problems at course at sign in. Excellent value.

This course is certainly not what it used to be...certainly in financial difficulty. But, if you can get past this the venue is still awesome & a great deal. It has just been airated & they are charging $20 until March 8th & $30 after....can't go wrong! I have always loved this course & every time we come down from Canada we play here! Hope someone buys this great course!

The course should be Cheaper because of condition.

I've played Little River on multiple occasions in the past. I had family in town for thanksgiving holiday, so I thought I would bring them over to play 18 holes. The grass on the tee boxes were extremely high along with some of the fairways. The greens were in fair condition and played well. The golfing pace was a little congested. Overall, we had a good day on the course.

We had the course to ourselves. Great golf for the price. The greens have some damage. It is fairly long. Reasonably maintained. Unfortunately, it is bank owned.

This course is a terrific layout. Hopefully, there can be an investor that can bring this course up to the standards intended. As good a layout as there is.

Terribly slow pace, ranger didn't do anything to address, condition ok, but at least $10 over priced, fire ant hills everywhere, unfortunately my friend stepped on one and suffered numerous bites. Just not a great experience.

Fairways Good.. Greens need work. Cart paths in places will jar your-------------loose. Average course and good value for the rate.

Horrible greens! Umnowed fairways! Don't waste your time!

Little River has deteriorated into a barely playable course. The greens (see the pictures for yourself) were almost dead, bumpy and unplayable. The cart paths were impassable. I really would like my money back. What serious golfer would play this course? They hadn't even mowed many areas in and around some of the fairways.
We will never go back. Golfnow needs to look into some of these courses and take them off the website. Not worth the money.

I live in the area and typically play this course a half dozen or more times per year (usually when a very good rate and my group's schedule come together). Generally the course is in pretty good condition and there are no "ominous signs of problems, etc".

We played today and I noticed that things seemed to (quite suddenly) be going downhill. Several of the bunkers are now as much mud as they are sand (not all of them by any means, but this has been a building problem.

SOME of the greens are showing real signs of summer stress. While this is not unusual for bent grass in this area in the summer, this has not been a tough summer to date. At this point it didn't present a serious playing issue, but a few of the greens were 'close to the edge' in that regard.

But what was really eye opening was the fairways. Some of them (bermuda) were VERY nice. Others were clearly burned out, more brown than green, and darned ugly (although playable at this point). This has not been a super hot/dry summer, so my best guess is that they have a watering system problem that they haven't resolved. It was most odd as some fairways were just super.

Hopefully this is a temporary problem as I like this course and in the past few years the conditioning has been good or better. But I felt like this information should be posted here.

Staff was great,pace of play excellent,fairways was ok,greens not good .will play again in late fall when the greens get healthy If the course is still open.

The course was nicely designed and some what challenging but the greens needed some attention. Several greens had holes drilled into them by some kind of wasp.

Started on the tenth hole and only ran into one person the whole round. Zipped around all eighteen in 2hrs and 15min. The fairways are cut a little on the high side so there is no roll at all so it plays longer than the stated yardage. I liked the design, had some pretty holes and some nice forced carries across water. Will put this on my list to play again next time I'm in the area.

We loved this course . Played talamore the day before but like little river better!
The staff was so nice !! Thanks for having us ! We will be back. Can't beat the price!
