Thank you for taking the time to review us!
Excellent course & beautiful landscape
The course was in excellent condition, especially given all of the rain recently. The greens were well manicured, true and quick - the best I’ve played on this year.
The course is hilly and lots of the fairways are slanted, giving you tricky lays with the ball often above/below your feet. It’s relatively forgiving off the tee (quite hard to lose a ball, even if you tend to spray your tee shots), but trickier on/around the greens.
Scenic course
Really scenic course ad a day of sunny weather after many months of damp conditions made this a pleasure to play. Only criticism, which was the same as last year, was that the tee grounds had no identification to show what hole you were on. Apparently this is in hand, but thankfully we knew where to go. Would be difficult for a first time player.
The drinks in the bar after were expensive (£10.40 for 1 1/2 pints of Guinness, and no ales at the pump).
Thank you for your 5 star review. As you mentioned, we will be having new signage installed within the next month on each hole. Hope to see you again soon.
A bit wet and muddy, and slightly lacklustre layout
A little tough to rate as I played after a week of rain, so course was wet and muddy underneath. Fairways long and shaggy and not great - but tee boxes and greens in good condition. However, the layout itself is a bit bland with quite a few up and down holes and not a lot of memorable holes. Bunkers full of stones and obviously needing attention after the rain/winter.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. As you mentioned, the weather has been very poor in the weeks leading up to your game so it has been difficult to get the normal cutting procedures in place. We focused heavily on ensuring that the greens and tee boxes were in as good as condition as possible. For a different layout, you could try our sister courses Westerham Golf Club or Surrey National Golf Club.
Great looking course.
Have drove past this course many times and found it alluring. Finally got to play the course but had to leave after 10 holes as my playing partner picked up a leg injury. So disappointed not to finish but enjoyed what we completed. A good test of golf for any standard of player.
Thank you for your 5 star review. Hopefully you have an opportunity to play the full 18 soon!
Wet but playable
Golf shop assistant very friendly and accommodating to our fourball. Despite recent heavy rain, all tees and greens in play. Used buggy’s too, as cart paths all round the course, but had to keep to paths to protect remainder of course. Would play here regularly if standard pay and play prices were a little lower. Hot deal price was more than acceptable though.
thank you for your comments. Hope to see you again soon.
good game!
Considering the wet weather the course was playable although we had to carry our bags. Greens played well. One main gripe is that there are no information posts on the tees to at least state the yardage and stroke index. So if you are playing this course for the 1st/2nd time, there were some blind shots.
Thank you for your comments. We are renewing our signage and they should be in place soon.
Greens were very slow. Tee boxes and fairways good. Also the tee markers were placed at the very front of the tee box. Overall I was satisfied with the round
Thank you for your comments. We have just treated our greens with a feed. This helps in us being able to offer no temporary greens!
Good and bad
This course follows a valley in Woldingham and has been thoughtfully designed with the 9th, 14th and 18th greens all being close to the clubhouse. Some tricky holes but overall fairly open and not too challenging.
When we played there was only 1 sign on 18 holes giving details of yardage etc so if you are new to the course you will need a course map.
Greens were in a fairly poor state with lots of pitch marks
Thank you for your review. There is tee signage set into the actual tee as a lot of golf clubs do now to avoid clutter. . The 17th is slightly different given the raised tees so that you know, before walking up the steps, which tee is being used that day to allow club choice. Greens are actually in a very good condition considering the weather we have had and I would imagine pitchmarks were difficult to repair last week when you played given the sub zero temperatures. Hope to see you again soon.
Cold day but good golf
Played on a very cold day and so green were a bit solid but still very enjoyable. Overall good value for money and course is a great to get you thinking as lot’s challenging holes.
Thank you for your comments. Hope to see you again soon.
Thank you for your 5 star review!
Lovely course
Despite the recent very heavy rain the course played really well. Great pace of play also, no hanging around tees.
Thank you for your 5 star review Mike.
Thank you for your review!
Great course, good pace of play and considering bad weather course in very good condition.
Thank you for your 5 star review. Imagine what the course is like in the Summer!
Top draw!
Can't fault Woldingham - course is challenging and in great condition, especially the greens. Great value, friendly staff and good food and service. All at reasonable prices.
Thank you for your 5 star review! Hope to see you again soon.
Course condition
We was very surprised how good condition the course was for wet conditions the fairways and greens were excellent.
Staff very friendly and food was ok .
Would play again

A great afternoon
It was a little wet underfoot in places but it was the 2nd of December.
I felt the course was in good condition and very playable for the time of year.
The staff were kind enough to give me a call in order to let me know that I could arrive earlier for my T time. Very useful as it allowed me to finish 18 holes before the light faded.
A great afternoon.
