Absolute Perfection!
This course is one of Florida's best. I now the reason why there are three tour events here (PGA, PGA Champions, and LPGA), because this place is absolutely perfect. All the holes are pretty and unique. The course is challenging but fair. Shot placement is rewarded here. I was lucky to have been paired with a club member who was really knowledgeable of the course, and pretty much told me where to place each shot, and he was spot on. It was like having a pro caddy help me unfold the beautiful wrapping of this gift of a course. If my ball striking was a bit better, I would have had one of the most memorable rounds of my life. Some unique things about the course are the bunkers, especially around the greens, which have wall features like the kind you see in Ireland or Scotland. My word of advice, stay away from those bunkers. The greens rolled pretty true, not real fast. The greens were not overly difficult, but not easy either, I think I only one putted a handful of times. The practice facilities were top tier, the clubhouse was that of super high end country clubs. Last but not least, the course is part of the Ritz Carlton resort, which is absolutely awesome for a weekend getaway with the family. 10 out of 10.
PGA Tour Stop- remarkable place
Apart from the heat & Humidity this time of year - as a overseas tourist found the whole experience faultless - 9.40an tee time with 2 other guys - was fun 4 - if I was to be overly critical - greens had no pace due to recent aeration
Treat
I played this course once before many moons ago.
The course plays tougher than it is rated. Enjoy every minute of it. Yes play if you can.
Great course.
Enjoyed my round at the Gold Course. It was fun, but pretty hard. Lots of break on the greens. It was in nice shape, and played pretty fast. I always get excited to play a course the pros do (LPGA).
Fantastic course
Great conditions. Very well kept. Pace of play was good. Would highly recommend if price isn’t a deterrent.
Tiburon Gold is just fun
I find this course to be incredibly comfortable to play, and I think it starts with the staff. If you are going to pay for Ritz service, you should get Ritz service and I think you do. The Gold course is challenging for me, but has plenty of forgiveness if you have just a bit of control of the ball. I'm a short hitter and the White Tees were perfect for me at 6200. The course was immaculate this day, and only the pace of play would be a criticism. A few of the holes are scenic, but lots of real estate on the course. Sydney's is not to be missed after.
Late afternoon round
Had a great time with my son on this course - challenging and fair - 16 handicap and 7 handicap.
Greens a tiny bit slow, but true and a course the staff should be proud of.
Pricey - yes but it’s Tiburon and you need to cross this off your list
Awesome
Had a great afternoon of golf with a threesome pacer play was excellent we did have to let a twosome through but love the course highly recommend you play this course
Championship Layout, indeed
First time playing at Tib. Beautiful morning, course conditions immaculate. CME Globe and QBE coming soon so the grandstands and scoreboards were up. If you are willing to spend some serious coin for the private course experience in Naples, come to the Shark's paradise.
