Course Closed by University
University closed the course in a cost cutting measure. Sad as it was a solid course. Course played over some of the flattest land imaginable. But the course had great built up greens and several unique holes along I-75.
Very enjoyable late fall round at Forest Creason
Played Forest Creason as a twosome and played 18 holes with cart. Course was in good shape and it was a fairly cool day and only a few others on the course. Play was fast and enjoyable. Have played this course several times this year and always book through GolfNow. So sad to see the course closing permanently at end of this season.
Great Round before Course Closes Permanently
My husband and I wanted to play one last round at BGSU's course Forest Creason before it closes permanently after this season. Course is still in great condition even though it will soon be closing forever. Sad to see it closing. It's been there a long time.
So long Forrest!
Played this course many times over the last 40 years. Unfortunately Forrest Creason will be just a memory after the 2017 season as it will no longer operate.
What a shame
What a shame this course is going under . Play it now because next year it will probably Not be here .
You can tell they are closing it soon.
It is a shame you can tell the course is being closed soon. I guess the university just wants out of the golf business. Many weeds, super slow greens and sparse grass in the fairways.
Ok but notthing more
The course is flat, no challenges at all. There are a couple pf holes that are right next to the highway, which is distracting. Hole 18 is a nightmare, impossible hazzard to the left and a street. If you pull your driver you can totally hit a car. Greens are OK but many unrepaired divots. So OK in general, but nothing more.
last year to play here. Course closing.
Enjoyed the course. Greens were in great shape. Playing a little fast.
This course is closing at the end of this season, so get out and play a round !!!
Good Course, nice people
Had great weather and it was not crowded. No one pushing us. That help, my brother is a injured vet and can't play fast. Front nine was easy, but very fast greens. Back nine was tougher and the holes were nicer. Great job, to the ranger and staff. Will golf there again.
Front nine is wide open and fairly simple. Back nine has some pretty fun and challenging holes.
Enjoyable Play
Unique w/5 par 3's and 5 par 4's . A # of elevated greens. Fairly wide fairways.
nice course.
This is an older course located on the campus of BGSU and the staff appeared to be students who did a great job from the clubhouse to the starter all were friendly and helpful. The starter could see a bit of a backup on the first tee and let us slip in on 10 were the group behind never did catch us. We played it in two hours and forty five minutes.
The carts could I use some maintenance or updating but I still highly recommend.
Wonderful course at an unbeatable value
This course is very well maintained and is an extremely fun course to play. Back 9 has three amazing par 3s which are just always a good time.
Nice little course in BG
Course was in average shape and got around in 3 1/2 hours. Always nice when I come back in town to play this course.
Well there was an outing.....
Tee time was 11:30, was running late and checked in at 11:40. Was immediately asked why we were late. Then told there is an outing going on and the last group just tee off on 1. So did it really matter we were 10 minutes late?
Played here before, so jumped around to make sure the round didn't take 5 hours (took 4ish hours).
Course is fairly easy with the back nine having the most challenge. Got a "hot deal" and really the only reason I ever play here.
Not a horrible course but average. Would play here again but if in the area and want to play a nice course in Bowling Green, play Stone Ridge.
bgsu!
Enjoyable round of golf....the holes on 75 (10-12) were outstanding!
Bad greens!
Greens were hard as a rock. They would not hold mid iron shots. They were also extremely slow. Bunkers in awful condition.
Course was in very good condition
Course was in very good condition. It was a beautiful day and we didn't wait on any hole to play. Looking forward to going back
