Terrible Staff

Course staff decided to interrupt play twice in the first 4 holes. Allowed a group of 12 behind us bully us off the course for 18 even though we had to wait for groups in front of us. Rude staff throughput and would not recommend this course to anyone

Great 27

Challenging yet fair. Fast greens. Slow play. Could use a ranger or two to keep slow foursomes moving.

Great course...good condition even with poor weather conditions.

It was about 50 degrees and rained all week and the course was still in great shape! Some very challenging holes with narrow fairways making it a great challenge sometimes. A few shorter par 4s that let you rip the driver and go for it! Will def play again. was pretty busy!!

With a hot deal and a coupon from GN for my Uncle and I $16 to ride and play this course was an incredible deal. The weather was approx 80 degrees and staff were very accommodating. The course was fairly wide open on the West and the North had one hole in particular that was more than tight on a par 4. The greens seemed to be lightning fast looking as if they had been airated and top dressed a few weeks ago. For a week day and getting late in the season (mid Oct) with a rare 80 deg day, the course was packed. Thoroughly enjoyed myself with my 83 year young Uncle.

Average Course But Great Value

Play this course a couple times per year. The best feature is the price. Usually can't beat the value for the money ($15 GolfNow). The conditions are usually above average but the layout is a little boring with only a few hazards. Greens are smallish and roll ok. Sometimes hard to distinguish fairway from rough, but not much penalty for spraying the ball around anyway. Like many courses, if you drive the ball half decent and can hit a fairway wood, the only other clubs you need are 9-iron and wedges. Good course to walk and there is always a fair number of golfers doing just that.

Best course in Its Price Range in Western PA!

Rolling Acres is a wonderful course! The greens are quick, usually very receptive and in great shape. They are mostly sloped, making reading the breaks a necessity. The course is fairly wide open, with pine trees trimmed from about 7 feet down, so it doesn't punish you for a slightly errant shot. It IS quite rolling terrain (imagine THAT in western PA). There are a number of interesting holes, some with blind shots. It has a nice bar and food available.

Overall, this is my favorite course for the usual $32 weekday green fees. There may be nicer public courses for higher greens fees, but this is my go-to course!

Fun Trak

Liked the layout and the course was more fun than i thought it would be. :-) Pretty open so if you have problems staying in the fairway you'll still be able to find your ball.

Last time at Rolling Acres

I decided to check on times the night before and found a really good deal at Rolling Acres. We showed up 40 minutes before our tee-time and noticed that barely anybody was at the course and nobody was at the 1st tee on both the North and South nines. When I asked if we could go out the manager told me that "you can not go out early because you booked through GolfNow and we do not see any of that profit so you'll have to wait." I had just spent $100 at this course two days before this and have been playing there for almost 20 years since I started golfing. I was insulted by the way I was treated and spoken to, and I'm a little sad to see that the customer service has been poor for the past couple of years compared to the way it once was. I'm not a big believer in the fact that the customer is always right but I've spent a lot of money at this place and will not be going back. I decided to lose the money and drive down the street to Blackhawk golf course where they allowed us to play 27 holes for $32 and were very kind to us. If Rollig Acres prefers that you do not book through GolfNow, then I would suggest you listen and not give them the business.

I feel your pain. I used to play the Acres for years but got tired of the arrogant, bullyish behavior. That manager you spoke of acts like RA is the only course in the area. And the head of the restaurant is even worse. Save your money and go to any of the courses in eastern Ohio. They know how to treat you right.

Rolling Acres

This course is aptly named as it is truly composed of rolling acres of beautiful golf holes. Very friendly staff that is mostly comprised of family. They make you feel very welcome and were very accommodating. Nice course that is kept in great condition. I look forward to playing Rolling Acres again in the near future.

Good value course

Played the north/south combinations and the course was in excellent shape for this time of year. I would say that the tee box areas were in the best playable shape that I have seen this year and I have played courses in 5 states this year. My thanks to the crew at this course.
