Connemara Golf Course

This course was overall very good. Greens in good shape, pretty good pace and challenging but not too much so. The only negative this day was that the rough was pretty high grass so difficult to find balls.

Love playing Connemara. The course is challenging for the layout. Would play it more but, HATE the fact that it is pay in full in advance. There are to many things in life that can pop up before around. If you know what I mean. Would love it if the course would implement a cart path of fairway only carts. In the summer they usually let the rough get to 4.5” to 5” tall. Which adds a unique and another level of difficulty. The problem is that the carts always run it down. All in all great courses for the money. One of my top 5 in the Lexington area. Go and enjoy a round there.

Rainy winter day, but the course was still in good shape. They was doing some resurfacing, but did not bother play.

A nice, open, hilly layout. I enjoyed it very much. I'm from out of town and they paired me with two local ladies, which was very helpful and enjoyable.

Good course for newer players. Plenty of different tee boxes to make the course as short and easy as you want to. If it's not busy you can fly around in 3 hours but a bad day is 4.5 hours plus. There is 6 holes with blind tee shots which is frustrating if the course is busy. The greens roll pretty good. There is a few holes where your drive can get you in trouble but overall it's a relatively open course.

This was my first time playing this course and it was excellent. Fast greens, nice fairways, and the pace of play was great.

Greens although had been punched recently still putted nicely a couple of the tee boxes needed some tlc but fairways looked fantastic even though we've had lack of rain. Staff are always super friendly.

Cant say anything negative about this course , it was very crowded but pace of play was good.

I’ve been playing Connemara for about 25 years. The course is in great shape, and is the best it has been since I’ve been playing it. I consider this my “home” course, and enjoy playing it.

From the club house/restaurant to the manicured greens to the lush fairways to the practice greens and driving range, this is one of the most well kept facilities in the area. And the fees are more than reasonable, even without a GolfNow Deal. Just a delightful experience all around.

Except for pace of play I've given 5 stars to every other area of this exceptional course. The lesser "pace" score has nothing to do with the course and everything to do with the group in front of us - no one in front of the 3 of them and yet they wouldn't let the 2 of us play through from the time we caught up with them on the 4th green. Please don't be that group whenever you play!

Fairways, tees and greens all in great shape. Good course for the money.

Great Course to play for golfers of all skill levels. Wide open fairways with challenging greens, so you can really grip it and rip it.

I always play this course whenever I come into town to visit. Only hole that still needs some work, is the short Par 3 number 2 hole. May need to cut down some of the trees to allow more sunlight on the green.

Besides that, course was in outstanding shape, and has a great layout.

Came here with practice at the range in mind , and left absolutely gobsmacked by the whole course! I came a little late in the day, and I am brand new to golfing, but the staff were professional, courteous, and kind. The course and the range are in really good condition, and the whole facility is kept up very well. I will definitely be coming back again and bringing my friends!
