Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand

One of Thailand's newest championship golf courses, Black Mountain Golf Club is located 10 minutes outside Hua Hin, a quieter coastal city that is home to the country's royal family.

The golf course is set in a dramatic location, named for the black rocks that reside on the mountains surrounding the course. The course opened in 2007 and winds through a former pineapple plantation. There are five sets of tees, playing from 5,600 to 7,351 yards.

The layout is kept in pristine condition and also features a large clubhouse with an expansive locker room that offers massage, plus an outdoor patio overlooking the golf course. Every three holes or so there is a comfort station, and Black Mountain Golf Club has already hosted an Asian Tour event in its history and should host plenty more in the future.
