Charlie Vettiner Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky

Charlie Vettiner Golf Course outside of Louisville is one of the area's nine metropark golf courses. It's very affordable and a good value for the price. You can play the course on weekends for less than $15.

From the back tees, Charlie Vettiner Golf Course plays a par-72 and a stern 6,900 yards and there are four sets of tees, making it a popular course for local tournaments. Many of the holes, especially the newer back nine, which opened years after the original nine in 1967, feature very tight fairways, especially the par-4 13th hole, which plays to a blind landing zone tightly sitting between trees.

Course amenities are understated, with a basic pro shop and short game and irons-only driving range.
