Each nine at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood offers a unique set of challenges
LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Eagle Ridge Golf Club has been voted one of the best courses in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
Eagle Ridge's three nines -- the Ridge Course, Links Course and Pines Course -- sprawl across a unique topography that you won't find on many other Jersey Shore golf courses. The course was carved from mature pinelands and across a variety of elevation changes. From the course's peaks you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding bluffs.
Eagle Ridge is known for having tricky fairways, but each nine has a distinct layout that offers a different set of challenges. Golfers should be prepared for a multitude of uphill and downhill shots, strategically placed bunkers, and forced carries. Tall pines line the fairways as well, requiring even more accuracy. There are also water hazards on a few holes.
In addition to the 27-hole course, the extensive practice facility at Eagle Ridge Golf Club also has a driving range with targets and a short-game area with a practice bunker.
