Enjoy the splendor of the Rockies at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks in Silverthorne, Colorado
SILVERTHORNE, Colo. -- Located in Summit County, Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks delivers a lofty 9,000-foot-high experience about 90 minutes from Denver, near the Keystone and Breckenridge mountain resorts.
The golf course can play up to 7,413 yards from the championship tees, though the course's altitude and a handful of downhill holes make it play a little shorter.
Originally designed by Dick Phelps, the team of Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry redesigned the course in 2000. The course winds up and down mountain terrain and features some tremendous changes in elevation, highlighted by the ninth hole, which heads 300 feet downhill from tee to green. Nature is abundant, including an eagle's nest on the third hole.
The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is a semi-private golf course with a small membership and great facilities, including a full range and practice area as well as a large pro shop and restaurant.
