In pictures: Redlands Mesa, one of Colorado's most dramatic public courses

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- Located at the base of the towering pink and red sandstone faces of the Colorado National Monument, The Golf Club at Redlands Mesa course offers some of the best views of any golf course in the Rocky Mountains.

There 11 elevated tees as well as 41 bunkers on this terrific Jim Engh design that's been around since 2001. With unique holes carved out of a Canyon, there are picture-taking opportunities on every hole.

To help you navigate, the course offers carts with GPA. There's also a new restaurant, Clubhouse 2325, which is located above the sports bar 19th Hole, both which show off great views of the valley.
