Old school: See the public-access golf courses where Arnold Palmer won on the PGA Tour
Arnold Palmer won 62 times on the PGA Tour, 10 times on the Senior (now Champions) Tour, three more times at the Senior Skins Games and several other odd tournaments (especially in Europe and Canada) during an inspiring career that spanned roughly four decades (from 1955-93). "The King" certainly earned his nickname.
Some of his biggest victories came at public courses around the world. His back-to-back victories at England's Royal Birkdale Golf Club in 1961 and the Old Course at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland in 1962 elevated the importance of The Open Championship in the eyes of America's pros and fans.
Palmer essentially helped put the Harbor Town Golf Links on the map by winning the inaugural Tour event there in 1969. He secured his milestone 50th win at the 1967 Tucson Open Invitational at what was then called the Tucson National Golf Club, now the Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort in Arizona.
