Royal Manchester Golf Links offers you a taste of the British Isles in Mount Wolf
MOUNT WOLF, Pa. -- Located just off the banks of the Susquehanna River, Royal Manchester Golf Links transports you to the coast of the British Isles in south central Pennsylvania.
Envisioned in the tradition of the Old Course at St. Andrews and Royal Lytham & St. Anne's Golf Club, the Royal Manchester Golf Links plays just less than 7,000 yards from the back tees. The forward tees play 5,078 yards. The Tim Freeland design features rolling hills as well as generous bentgrass fairways and greens.
The 15th, the longest par 3 on the course, is the only hole set among the few trees that dot the landscape. The most formidable challenge comes from the prevailing winds as well as the strategically placed bunkers. Royal Manchester finishes with a memorable view of its signature waterfall that cascades down into a sparkling pond.
The Golf Academy at Royal Manchester offers an array of services, from private instruction to club fitting, and the Rose and Crown Pub is a great place to enjoy a drink or a meal after your round. Royal Manchester also hosts banquets and weddings.
