Stallion Mountain Golf Club offers a formidable challenge not far from the Las Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS -- Located just seven miles from the Strip, Stallion Mountain Golf Club is one of Las Vegas' premier golfing destinations.

The course has served as host to several major tournaments and events, including Golf Channel's Big Break II, the PGA Tour's Las Vegas Invitational, and the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic.

PGA Tour professional Jim Colbert and architect Jeff Brauer teamed up to design the challenging championship layout, incorporating plenty of variety and shot values. The layout consists of mostly par 4s and par 5s but there are a few interesting par 3s as well.

It is a golf course that will test your ability to hit long, accurate drives and it also requires a sharp iron game. Golfers will have to contend with water hazards and several strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Stallion Mountain is a formidable test, but four sets of tee boxes makes it more accessible for a wide range of skill levels.

In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a double-ended driving range, short game areas, and large putting greens.

The club boasts a full array of amenities including an elegant 38,000-square-foot clubhouse, flexible banquet/event facilities and a complete practice facility that includes double sided practice range, short game areas and expansive practice greens.
