Take a tour of the incredible Pete Dye golf course at French Lick Resort in Indiana

FRENCH LICK, Ind. -- Unlike anything else in the world, the Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort is both extremely scenic and difficult. When it played host to the Senior PGA Championship won by Colin Montgomerie in 2015, the last-place golfer after the cut was 28 over par and didn't break 80 on the weekend.

Montgomerie, of course, had a little easier time of it, finishing at 8 under par, four strokes clear of second-place finisher Esteban Toledo. But he was on his game, so he enjoyed his experience. If you're on your game, you can have a pretty good time as well on this incredible golf course. But it will take some work to score well. Really, the key to having fun out here is to lower your scoring expectations and take what each hole gives you.

Elevated tees, incredible views, narrow ribbons of fairways and hardly a flat lie on the golf course is what awaits golfers who take on this 8,000-yard beast. One thing it is, of course, is memorable, with each hole distinct and with its own set of challenges.

Besides the Senior PGA, French Lick Resort's Dye Course has also played host to the the PGA Professional National Championship, the Big Ten championships as well as the LPGA Legends.
