BEND, Ore. -- River's Edge Golf Course in Bend offers some of the best golf vacations in Central Oregon.

Located on the bank of the beautiful Deschutes River, the course offers an amazing golf experience. Be prepared to use every single club in your bag.

Featured in Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," this Robert Muir Graves design is a par 72, 18-hole course. Breathtaking scenery is always prevalent at River's Edge, including a waterfall on No. 6 and spectacular views of Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Hood and Smith Rock. Golfers of all skill levels will appreciate the multiple tees.

A driving range with target greens, natural grass tees and free range clubs, a pro shop and private lessons round out the River's Edge experience. The River's Edge Cafe -- with its wide variety of food and beverages and a big screen TV -- is a great post-round stop.

Born and raised in the former Soviet Union, photographer Oleg Volovik moved to the United States in 1992 and now lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles. He joined the TravelGolf editorial team in 2010. Originally graduated with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering he continued to dedicate his time and energy to his passion for visual arts and photography. Oleg has extensive experience in fine arts, fashion, event, architecture and journalistic photography. His work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Moscow, where he also taught a master class, sponsored by Hewlett-Packard, in April 2007.
