The top golf course images of the week -- and how to take your own great photos
We've had plenty of images coming into Golf Advisor over the last couple weeks, as you all have been busy playing some great golf all over the world.
The most recent round of top golf course photos comes from international and exotic locales like the Dominican Republic, Scotland and Bermuda. (Is there anything more "Bermuda" than riding your scooter to the course with your clubs on your bag, as Brent8056245 says they did when they went to Port Royal?)
We've also received a great review from GolfGuy7745 of Pasatiempo Golf Club, a classic Alister MacKenzie course in Santa Cruz, Calif.
But perhaps my favorite thing about Golf Advisor is seeing all the images and reviews coming on from lesser-known courses, like in Indiana at Harbor Links at Sagamore Resort, which looks like a sleeper pick. Sandhill River and Wildflower are two Minnesota courses reviewed by mtpingr that also look quite cool.
If you're looking for tips on how to take your own golf course photos, Matt Ginella, former Sports Illustrated photo editor, recently gave a tutorial on Golf Channel's Morning Drive. Here's how you can take great images of your own from your phone, using apps like Snapseed or Instagram.
