The views just keep on coming at CostaBaja Golf Club in La Paz

LA PAZ, Baja California Sur, Mexico -- Opened in late 2010, the Gary Player-designed CostaBaja Golf Club has ocean views on nearly every hole.

With generous fairways, players have plenty of room to drive the ball. And they need it. Missing the fairways, for the most part, means finding the desert on this 7,082-yard course, and there's usually a pretty good wind to factor in as well.

The golf course features one spectacular hole after another, with elevated tees and flawless paspalum fairways and greens. If you had to pick a signature hole, it would probably be the 612-yard par-5 14th, which plays from a tee high above the Sea of Cortez to a landing area some 250 yards away from the back tee.
