Tour Tom Fazio's Buffalo Ridge Springs Golf Course at Top of the Rock in Missouri

Buffalo Ridge Springs is the first 18-hole option at Top of the Rock and Big Cedar Lodge, Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris' getaway to the great outdoors. Buffalo Ridge Springs originally opened under the name Branson Creek in 1999. Morris purchased the course in 2013 as an addition to the upgraded Top of the Rock par-3 course, making the resort officially a multi-course golf getaway minutes from the entertainment mecca of Branson. The course co-hosts the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf on the PGA Tour Champions.

Since the purchase, the resort has enhanced certain elements of the layout, from more waterfalls to fun comfort stations with whimsical writing. The Fazio design features wonderful Ozarks scenery and is void of any residential development. Another cool touch is the herd of buffalo that roam to the right of the first hole and is visible from the clubhouse.

Buffalo Ridge Springs won't be the only 18-hole course much longer at Top of the Rock. Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw's Ozarks National is scheduled to open in 2018, and Tiger Woods recently announced that Payne's Valley, a 19-hole course, is under construction and is on pace to open in 2019.
