Golf Advisor: New products on display at the Golf Industry Show

Sr. Managing Editor Brandon Tucker checks in with Laura Bauernfeind, the City Manager for the City of Los Angeles' 12 golf courses. She shares some of the changes they've made to operations in 2020, including mandatory tee times and spaced out tee time intervals, and shares how they are experiencing strong demand thus far.
In an interview with Golf Advisor Senior Writer Jason Deegan, Bushnell Golf's John DeCastro discusses his company's latest technology and offerings, including the new v5 rangefinders and their enhanced capabilities. He also discusses Bushnell's new Wingman product, which is a high-quality music speaker that can be mounted magnetically on a golf cart. The Wingman isn't just a toy, though: it can provide instant yardage readings via built-in GPS technology.
This week's GolfNow Weekly Industry Report, Gary Williams shares the latest rounds data from a record-breaking Father's Day weekend as well as new information on how many rounds were likely lost due to COVID-19. New York City municipal golf courses are still not reopened, while Chicago's has and is seeing strong demand.
