Pace of play was slow at best. Staff tried to hustle people along but a Municipal on a weekend is going to be slow. All in all not too bad.

We teed off on time. Ran into a log jam on the back due to a big money game (probably a buck). Guys that were jammed in front of us were ok as were we. The jerks behind us didn’t like it and seemed stressed by the whole affair, but it was Friday mid morning golf in Florida. Get over yourself and enjoy the great course.

Play here half a dozen times a year. The greens are in need of repair ir possibly replacement if the can get them back. Overall the course is in fairly good shape which is why the condition of the greens stand out so much.

I had booked a tee time for four people myself, my wife and another couple. I had forgot my sunglasses and hat at home and bought a hat in the pro shop. Here is where my issue with this course arises. Only after I paid for all four golfers and the gat did the gentleman behind the counter inform me “ the members prefer you tuck your shirt in”. I informed him that I have my shirts tailored as i have some extra weight and the shirt not only looks but hangs better when tailored and left untucked. I have golfed at Pebble Beach, The Presidio and other expensive and much better courses. I can say I will never golf here again. Rather than appreciate the patronage to their facility they would rather tell you how to dress as if you were a piece of dirt looking the way you do.

Perhaps it is time for a look in the mirror to see who the dirt is really sticking to.

We have played here about six times now. The ciurse is in great shape. The staff super friendly and the value is excellent.
