Great value
Bowie is in good shape this late in the season. The greens are well maintained but very soft after some brutal weekend storms. The front nine has some drainage problems that need to be addressed. The back nine was in very good shape.
Some parts of the cart path are just beat up and make for a bumpy ride. Sand traps are like concrete.
It's a great course for the occasional golfer who needs wide open fairways. I think seasoned golfers will find Bowie fun. Pace of play was slightly slow but it was a great afternoon and nobody was pushing anyone else.
Luckily we were paired with two brothers who were as nice as you'd find on any course.
I'll golf here again.

Thank you for the kind review. This fall you will see several improvements to the course including pavement work, cart path work,resurfacing all the senior tees and bunker repair , includes new sand. Hope to see you soon
