The course is in horrible condition and is basically unplayable.
It is a dust bowl, a tumbleweed. You have to work very hard to get a course in this terrible shape!! It’s a shame as it was once one of the best courses in Central Florida.

The range area appears to be over seeded, but the course is not. The grass is thin and the soil is like dust.
Find some other course to play or just stay home!

Course is in need of repair. Fairways are thin and lack definition. Sand traps and waste areas are in terrible condition, they have not been worked on in years. Surprisingly, the greens, with the exception of one or two were in good to very good shape with relatively fast pace.
Driving range and range balls are terrible.
I was charged $3, everyone else I played with (2 foursomes) were charged $34.

Course conditions were pretty good considering all the rain. The layout is fantastic with a few forced carries and strategic bunker placement. Unfortunately the bunkers were unplayable as a majority of them were full of water. Also, the range was closed but the practice green and chipping area were open.

Very challenging course from the black tees.
Water in play on many holes from black tees . Carries of 200 yards off tee, several par 3 over 200 yards.
Greens were a nice speed with subtle undulation.
Course was soggy due to all of the late afternoon thunderstorms.

There was a collegiate competition taking place. It was a total cluster. The only personnel who knew how to deal with anything to do with a round of golf were the young lady and young man in the pro shop at check in.
No range balls in dispenser. No spots open to hit range balls. No golf carts available. The cart that we finally received died before we arrived at the first tee box.
9 holes toll 3 hours.
Never played the back nine.
Will never attempt to play LPGA International again.
Oh,, The Hills Course appeared to be in good condition, but the round was already ruined.
I called before booking and was not informed of the event.
Just bad business practices and greed.

The course was in good to very good condition, but due to the pre-golf experience and pace of play, I was absolutely distracted, upset and did not enjoy the day at all.
Check in at the pro shop was speedy and friendly and then everything fell apart.
No available golf carts!! Did we surprise you?
No range balls! Even though we paid for range balls and were provided a code for the range ball dispenser.
No spots available on range.
Still no cart.
Finally, 2 spots open on range. We hit a few balls and wander back to get a cart (an attendant told us he would find us and bring us a cart - HA!)
Get an attendant to get us a cart, it does on the way to the first hole! Call pro shop and they do bring us another cart.
We figure that we are going to have to hustle to keep up with the group in front of us. Nope! 3 hour front nine!!
We left, never finished the round.
It all could have been avoided if we were told they were hosting a collegiate tournament!!!
Total cluster, the only employees prepared for the tournament were the two behind the check in counter in the pro shop.
Good luck with your tournaments and all of your BS.
I will never book again!

The course is in good condition, considering all of the rain. Unfortunately, the 7th hole is unplayable and closed. The 7th hole is a very interesting and challenging par 5..
The greens were in very good condition and average speed.
We did encounter some rain which disrupted our pace of play, but without rain we would have completed our round in 3.5 hours.
The 18th hole is one of the best and most challenging holes in Central Florida!

Nice bar and outdoor area to enjoy a post round beverage and snack.

Very nice course layout. Good variety, some doglegs, some short par 4’s, some long par 4’s.

There was a tournament in front of us which contributed to the pace of play issue. I wish the course or GolfNow would tell you that a tournament is scheduled, giving you the option to find another venue.
5 hour rounds are inexcusable. 18 holes of golf should take 3.5 hours, maybe 4.

Very good layout, nice variety of holes requiring a bag full of golf shots. Greens were a little slow, the course was in very good condition but pace of play was slow until the group ahead let us play through on the 14th home.
Entire staff was friendly and engaging.
It was a fun and challenging day of golf.

Actually teed off a little early for our 7:18 tee time which was great, but it did not allow any time to hit a few range balls. Pace of play was excellent, course conditions were great, but a little soggy, greens were smooth but a little on the slow side. Dubsdread is a fun course to play with the variety of doglegs. Par 4s can be very challenging and long.
The foursome enjoyed the round and lunch and beer at the TapRoom.

I have not played CC of Mount Dora in many years. The layout is different and somewhat challenging, particularly to the eye. Many doglegs, double doglegs, primarily to the right.
Greens were OK, but not consistent. Back side greens were slower and much more bumpy (may have been due to time of day).
In all a very enjoyable round.

I was expecting better conditions based upon recent reviews on Golf Advisor.
I did not expect a completely dormant course, except for the greens.
I like the layout, but the course needs TLC. Fairways and tee boxes should be overseeded, bunkers need lots of work, hitting irons from dormant fairways creates flyers like you see from rough.
Some very bare spots just off fairways.

It was my first time playing at Osprey Point.
The weather was perfect, the Hawk and Raven courses were in excellent shape, plush fairways, fast and smooth putting surfaces.
The layout was very nice and moderately challenging.
Can't wait to play again!
All in all a great day!

The Jones Course is a challenging layout with open, assessable fairways, well bunkered and somewhat undulating greens.
Multiple tee boxes allow for golfers of varying skill levels to select a course length suitable to their skill level.
It was a fairly overcast and foggy round to start, but cleared nicely late in the round.
Pace of play was ok at about 4:40.
It has been a while since I played and thouroughly enjoyed the round.
I would highly recommend this course for residents of Volusia, Seminole and Lake Counties.
Also worth the ride for visitors to the attractions in Orlando.

I am a former member of RedTail. The current ownership is working diligently to accommodate employees, members, guests and bring the course back to it's form from many years ago.
The greens were excellent, possibly a little dormant from the cold, but smooth and fast.
You can see improvements to tee areas and fairways, particularly on the back nine.
Employees and staff are very friendly and personable.
I received a thank you email which is a very nice touch.
It is very enjoyable to play a course that has respect for the game, employees, guests and the course.

The course and course layout are very nice.
Conditions were average during our play. Greens were loaded with fertilizer, considerable bare spots I rough, thin turf in fairways.
Play was extremely slow.
Overall a good value, but I cannot stand slow play.
Too many golfers watching pros on tv. Speed it up!
