Grand View Golf Club

I'm always one to give things a fair shake.
Read some reviews of this course and it got crushed...and deservedly so.
Pace is beyond ridiculous. 2.5hrs and waiting on the 7th tee along with 3 other groups - yes I am writing this now because of being purely infuriated - and because I have the time too....
The course itself is a bit silly, but playable if you have been on it a few times.
I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone...ever!
Cart girl is very nice though. One bright spot for this place!
Stone Hedge Country Club

I have played this course many times and it is a very challenging layout; you will use every club in your bag, especially from the back tees. Greens are huge, a GPS unit is a must here! The only thing that holds this course back from being 5-star is the condition of tees and bunkers. Many tees are crowned, and bunkers could use some fresh sand. Otherwise great overall conditions.

Just didn't like the course. Too many blind shots and awkward lies. Par-5's other than #18 are not good holes. Nothing against the staff or the overall conditions (although rough), we understand the toll the winter took on courses in the Northeast. Would STRONGLY recommend the course investing in GPS units; would make it much more enjoyable. Not in a hurry to go back or recommend to a friend
Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club - Grizzly/Kodiak Course
Played On 8/7/2013Played Grizzly-->Kodiak. Course was very fair, with ample room off the tee. Know your yardages to the flags, the greens are tricky with subtle breaks
Booked through GolfNow for a super rate. Loved the course and would have given it 5 stars if it was not for the staff being a little "less than talkative" to the non members. Although the starter, Buck, was very nice and welcoming.
