Carlisle gets a lot of play because of its location. It's Sunday morning so a lot of " Bros" playing which means lots of stray tee shots and lots of talking. I should have known better. Never saw a Crouse Marshall until the end. The group in front of us had no one in front of them and were painfully slow. Like I said , another " Bro" weekend.
PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course

Glad we played here. This is a good example of mixing the mountains and a great course design. Add the wind and challenging holes then it adds up to a very good test.
Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course
Played On 04/24/2013This course is part of a hotel complex and it was a bit of a hassle as I had to wait in an area away from the hotel to be picked up.
Typical Pete Dye course. Fine layout and challenging especially if the wind kicked up. Best hole was 18 with water along most of the hole on the left side. If your not a 20 handicap or lower save your money because some holes will frustrate you. I shot.78 the day I played and found that taking the time to view the pin placements and bail out areas was important.
