I only play in the area in the summer months. It’s the end of summer and the course is in really good shape. They said on the Golf Now the greens were punched, but they were punch over a month ago so don’t let that scare you.
One of guys in our 4some got tied up in traffic and was going to be late, they said no problem, it is summer time though, maybe they are not they accommodating during the golf season.
Check in went smooth, staff super friendly. Starter was great as well. I’ve reviewed this course plenty of times, every time it’s a great time. The layout is nice, fairways were rolling and green, the actual greens though were very slow. SilverRock is right on par with PGA West Stadium and Desert Willow Firecliff. If you haven’t played SilverRock, you really are missing out on a great course.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to play golf with a scape of Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland, wonder no more!
Played this course in back to back weekends! First time took my girlfriend, who is very new to golf, place is very intimidating to someone new.
Upon arrival they meet you in the parking lot, confirm your time and direct you to the pro shop. Leave the clubs in the car, after you get checked in, you get a cart, sign the waiver and the COVID release, then take the cart to the parking lot and get your clubs.
Driving range is really the only weak part of this course!, but you’re not there to be a driving range pro anyway!
We played at the end of summer when it was still 118, that said they had a guy with the biggest cooler I’ve ever seen giving you free water!
The course is even better than the pictures and videos you’ve seen! 14 handicap and played from the whites, except hole 2! Well I did play from the whites, but had to play a ball from the tips! Carried the Grand Canyon, but came up short of the fairway, I suggest if it’s not crowded try hole 2 from the back tees, or at least go up there for the view and take a picture!
Every hole could be a signature hole!
Every gone through a drive through snack shack? You will here! We pulled in ordered some snacks, asked for more ice to fill the cooler on the cart, pulled up and boom, dumped some more ice in the cooler!
I could go on, but I won’t, this place is everything it’s marketed it be! I think the next Phil vs Tiger match should be played here! I want to see how the pros would play this place!
Bucket list course for sure!

Booked an 11am tee time on Golf Now for my dad and I0 Pro shop is being redone, so check in is in a portable. Staff at check in was great! Course is fully opened again, (back in July you had to play front or back twice.) layout is amazing, conditions were good! End of summer had me worried. They punched the greens three weeks ago and they are coming around, although a bit slow. It was 103 that day and the course marshal came around to check on us., offered water, and towels. Again, great staff. Finished in under 4 hours and had a great day. Worth whatever price ya pay! One of the nicest courses in Coachella! See ya next summer SilverRock!

Greens were fast, and in good shape. Fairways are not what they were a month ago, so maybe the rain will help. Staff was great! Pricec was great for 11:40ish tee time, finished before dark, but don’t go much later than that and expect to finish.

Father’s Day round with my son, brother, and girl. Have played here numorous times, without a problem. This time the greens were just punched, guessing within the last few days, but when booked there was no mention of it. Used the Golf Now app to book, deal wasn’t that good, to play sandy punched greens. It’s Palm Spring!! Lots of courses to choose from for the same price. Good time anyway.
Carts have to be back by 7! Didn’t know that, and we lost a half hour by a cart dying at the furthest point away from where you get carts. So we didn’t get to play 17-18. Not a big deal, just would of been nice to know that the greens are just punched. It’s early summer, so wil give it a few and go back I’m sure.

I’ve played this course many times during the summer the past few years. Always over 100 degrees. Staff was great, some of the greens are still feeling the effects of being punched not long ago. Fairways were good, gps carts are great, just missing a USB port on the carts. Simple layout, one water hole, par 3. Water coolers on the course. Staff was great, course was probably beautiful when it was in its heyday. Value for the money was great! I play a lot in Coachella during the summer. Not a big fan of links style courses, but the layout was good, fairways were average, greens were alright. There was water to drink on the course, and the carts have USB! Good play for the money.
We got told about 3:00 that they would start picking flags up at 4, and we’re closing about 4:30. So I didn’t get to finish the round. They did offer voucher to come bs k and play the back 9. I said it was ok as I felt we got our money’s worth. I shot a 45 on the front and was at 29 on the back but only played 7 holes, skipped s par three and a par 4. Oh, it was a little breezy, too, but that’s just the desert in the late afternoon.

Kinda last minute as the girlfriend wished to golf on Mother’s Day, she is in the very early stages of learning.
I have played the south course maybe 15-20 times, this was the first time for the North Course. Tee time 12:50, parking lot almost empty, which is a good thing, cause as I said the girlfriend is really new to golf. We talk the first guy we see, he says he will get our bags, put them on the cart and it’ll be waiting for us after we check in.
Checking went great, super friendly guy checked us in, made small talk, the guy couldn’t of been nicer. I’m sure he wanted to go home, but he didn’t ever treat us in a rush.
The course is nothing like the south course. It’s very old school Palm Springs golf course, which was awesome by the way. Reading up on the history of the place knowing the “Rat Pack” have played and hung out there made it just that much more awesome! The stories those Palm trees could tell!!
Anyway the course was in good shape, greens were well manicured, fairways were nice as well. Since we were the last time of the day and the girlfriend is a horrible golfer, I felt we should step our pace of play. After just teeing off on 16 I see the course worker coming our way. He doesn’t say a word, I was fully ready to skip the last few holes so he could go home. Well since he didn’t say anything we kept playing.
Round is over, he cleans the clubs, makes small talk as we are loading our clubs. Obviously the south course is more modern, but if you’re looking to play golf at an old school Palm Springs course, this is s great choice.

Booked through Golf Now. I start with that because someone else said they got treated poorly because they used Golf Niw to book. We got treated excellent from the bag drop to the starter.
Course is good, Stadium is better, guess that’s why the final round of a Career Builder is played there lol. Nice layout, elevated fairways, greens are wide but not deep, tee boxes very level. fairways are nice and green, you will get some roll. Greens were slow, which was surprising, Sierra Lakes in Fontana has faster greens. Pro shop is cool with some nice memorabilia. Mid range handicappers bring your A game, you’re going to need it! I’m a15 handicap, and I shut 98, so clearly I didn’t bring my. A game!

We have played the Legend course before, so this time we tried out the Resort side.

Price was great!

Couple things, not much water to drink on the course, no water coolers anywhere.

After the second hole, hole three is to the left under the road, don't go right or you will be on hole 17. There isn't much of a sign to tell you. The guys ahead of us gave us the heads up, as they along with the group in front of them all went right.

After hole 9, it's straight to hole 10, you do not get close to the clubhouse again till after 18. So stock up on water, beer, and snacks.

Course was fun, greens are rough right now, fairways were in great shape, bunkers were a mess, lots of rocks.

Arrived early on Memorial Day, tee time was 1:28 but I got there a lil after 12:30. Was prepared to hit balls, but they said I could tee off whenever I was ready.

Getting into summer and there were not many people on the course. So I was able to listen to music and just relax. Fairways looked to have been punched not too long ago, but they were green and in good shape.

Greens were on point! No dead spots to be found.

I only play Palm Springs area courses in the summer. If you can deal with the heat, its a solid links style course. It will be in the rotation this summer.

Only down side is south side of the course where the road is, there are homeless down there and the water cooler they have on the course gets emptied pretty quickly.

Oh and some bozo out walking picking up golf balls.

Like the course and trying to get back out there this Sunday with my son.

This will quick, just think of every good word you can to describe a great golf course, and just apply it here!
Course is every bit as good as Palm Springs courses. The sand traps on the front 9 are just awesome, back were ok, but the front had better sand.
Nothing to complain about, tee time was 7:30, never caught up to anyone in front, so finished in about 4 hours with 3 of us.

New to the area and the course is close to home, so we gave it a try.
Before I start just so you know, I play a lot in Palm Springs(in the summer) and Sierra Lakes was the previous home course. Driving race is mostly dirt, but where you hit from is grass, not mats, so thats a good thing. Staff was great! Tee boxes were in good shape, fairways were spotty, but it is California and just finished up summer so it wasn't Sierra Lakes, but if you were in the fairway is was mostly grass. If your off the fairway your screwed, dirt and weeds, kinda like desert golf. Greens were average, fix your ball marks people!!!
Price was right and its close, so I'll be back.

Last minute spur of the moment decision, played alone and my son hates the course.
I have never liked this course, ever since it opened, it was never in the rotation of courses. I wasn't expecting much as they are closing at the end of the month. Course is is excellent shape, and not excellent for closing, but in really good condition. Fairways are green, bunkers maintained, and the green are in great shape.

Strapped on headphones and had a great time. Play it before it closes, price is right!

Had a tee time at 6:22 on Veterans Day. Arrived around 6, and was greeted by the guy bringing the carts out. After small talk, he gave us a cart key and told us just go on and start and check in at the turn. Nice!!! First ones on the course!
The course layout is nice. Like others have said, the fairways are rough, we just placed our ball on grass if it didn't land on it in the fairway. Greens were in ok shape. After a couple rain days and the grass comes back, this is going to be one lush course! So at the turn we check in. Forget the guys name behind the counter, but he couldn't of been nicer! He explained they had a well go down, so water wasn't as easy to come by.
We went to get a water and I needed a Red Bull. Girl in the snack shop is really nice. By nice I mean she is easy to look at. Seriously though, they didn't have any energy drinks there, so she went to the restaurant to get me one. Did I mention she's easy to look at?
To sum it up, the course isn't in the greatest shape right now, but the staff is great, and I played golf on a Wednesday with my son, so really what is there to complain about?

Great course! Can't say enough good things about the course. Staff was very friendly, starter chatted us up a bit after hearing it was our first time there, which helped. Fairways were great! Greens were great! Not a bad hole on the course! Wide fairways! Hope to be back very soon, maybe as soon as tomorrow!
