It has been a few years sin I had played this course. Unfortunately it did not seem they had done much work in keeping the course in very good shape. Cartpaths were partially gone leave holster rough sure to rise on, airway were uneven with multiple patches of grass vs true fairways. The greens had many unfixed divots leaving them also patchy in places. In general it needs a lot of work

Staff is always friendly and helpful
Course was in very good condition
Greens were also in very good shape and honest rolls
Course could have benefited from cart service or beverage opportunities
Overall a very good experience

I hadn’t played here in 10 +years, and typically you see differences as nature tends to grow, courses mature, and greenskeeper manage based on budget. Not as crisp as I would have hoped and clearly some areas needed work. Overall the course was fair and enjoyable. I would do the drive from NY again.

First timer for this course. While one may say water is a key component of the difficulty factor, I believe the poor green conditions, fairways with little grass and leaves all over the place.
As noted in my Review Title, i wouldn’t think that this course has Links style.

Course was as I had remembered from years past. Appeared to have some freshmen taking to overal grounds. Pace was a little slow primarily due to a group of 5 in front of us plus an ever gusty high wind that came from different directions on each hole adding to the challenge of club selection and ball flight

Have to admit, I am usually very happy with the conditions even when the leaves fall. Not this round, pace was extremely slow. No Rangers available to speed up slow players No forewarning of aeration, on the fairways. They really need to rethink cart path only on #1 and #18 . Those two holes kill the feeling of the course. Lack of mid course amenities or consistent cart service finishes overall rating. Hopefully it will improve at the price

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Course fairways and rough well maintained. Greens were fair and a little slow but this was expected after heavy rains had just passed. Course had its challenges between tree placements on doglegs, water hazards that needed to be carried, and pin placements that challenged approach shots.

Five rounds in 4 days has come to an end. Learned along the way. Green placement, difficulty to hold, relatively small size, and strategically placed natural and man-made hazards gives you the challenge that makes that shorter hole a boost. I guess the only negative to speak of is if you miss the fairway, the rough is just deep enough that it swallows the ball making it difficult to find. lengthens the time need to play the round. While hitting the fairway shouldn't be a concern , the contour of the fairway line cut may give you the impression that that blind tee shot would land clear , only to find the fairway bend left you off line.

Only tips i would give is to keep your driver in the bag, use a soft ball to spin on the green and, don't forget to stop at Mulligan's after your round, the staff is very friendly.

Front nine was straight forward while the back nine offered many challenges.

Considering it is February, course was in good shape (minus geese contributions).
Greens were soft , as should be expected following snow three days before, but ball rolled true.
Course pro was very friendly and accommodating.

Besîdes the geese, we would have preferred having the restaurant open

Course is in very nice shape, and very clean.
Some of the pin placements made it virtually impossible to miss within a few inches.
Worth repeating

This was my first play at Lido Beach Golf , the course was in very good condition. The starter was nice enough to give us the hole guide that described better each hole. He was also gracious in showing us the key holes where blind shots near water existed. Distances matched well to the card, as did hole yardage markings.
Signage on where the next tee could have been better.

Would recommend course to all levels of play

Course has seen better days. Greens are in need of repair so since they havent done so, greens were deep and slow in spots.This leads to both slower and faster areas on the same green.
Staff unwilling to switch my teetime and had me pay a second time.
Cart service was poor , as was on-course convenience hut.
