Spoke with Superintendent-manager after my round. He said all courses in the area are experiencing poor conditions. Not true, I have played others in the area, and they are nowhere as bad as Babe's. It's a shame, my guess, is it's a managing company issue, just collecting revenue...

No ranger on the course. Extremely slow play, example backed up 4 groups on 13, and 14.. Not interested in 5+ hr rounds. Greens in great shape.
Challenging course.

i realize, an sympathize that it is Cov 19 era, however, not cutting greens, not prepping traps and no grass on 11 of 18 tee boxes is totally not acceptable.. Especially to keep charging full rates for these conditions. Spoke to Ranger/ Starter and Pro about this, and get nothing but excuses. And the excuses are blaming the weather. Yeah its rained alot, but that has nothing to do with cutting greens, taking care of tee boxes, or raking- preeping traps and bunkers.POOR !!!
Poor, just really poor to charge full rate for unacceptable conditions..

Some greens painted, but rolled fairly well.
Fairways should be blown to remove excessive leaves. Not much grass in fairways.

No complaints. Teed off at 9:00 and finished at 12:30. Can't get better than that, especially on a 4 &1/2 **** course...

Greens were a little rough, but not unexpected at this time of year. Tee boxes need a little work. 5th time playing this course , it never disappoints.
Good value. As always, #12,13,14, and 17 never disappoint..

Great round, we got out early. Greens were a little slow, but they were damp. Course is in good shape considering this time of year.. 2nd time I've played this course, good layout..

There was a 1hour frost delay. Staff did a great job getting everyone out there as soon as possible.
Course and greens are in great condition.. have played here numerous times and it never disappoints.

We were warned about the over fertilizing problem they had that affected the tee boxes and fairways.
Greens are in great shape, staff excellent. Only complaint I have is the bunkers. They were atrocious, no upkeep and need to be serviced badly..
Will be back soon. This is a must play course if you've never played it, 12-17 are phenominal...

It rained most of our round but was still enjoyable.
Someone wrote water only comes into play on three holes ??? Totally wrong. Used every club in my bag, which is what I want in a golf course...
Hole #16 is a great hole...
Will be back..very courteous and helpful staff.
Definetly want to play this when it is not wet...

Read reviews that said this was a 3 1/2 4 star resort and course. Maybe the Legends is better, but this is a course in need of attention and better care. Not to bad a layout, but I've played plenty of courses in the area with better conditions for less money and better value.. Really disappointed. .
The starters and attendants are top notch, know what they are doing, and really was the highlight of the afternoon. Attention to detail, and course maintenance are #'s 2 and 3 after customer service if you want to be above 2 1/2* course.

It poured, thunder and lightning. We waited it out under the trees near the 4th tee. Greens were excellent, obviously once the rain cleared the course was soggy, so condition were a little rough. The course itself was in great shape, nice greens, very undulating. Bring your A game, or bring lots of golf balls. I will be back.

No complaints. Excellent layout, 4 hr. 10 min round with a 10:37 tee time, excellent. Greens are some of the best I've played. First time players beware- very small greens. Will definetly be back.

Only complaint is poor pace of play. 5 hrs 20 minutes for a round of golf is terrible. No rangers , two five some allowed. And three two some playing in front not letting groups through or pairing up... Awful.

Greens are exceptional. Good speed and role true. Tee boxes and fairways are beat up. Many areas dug up due to carts on a wet course. Round took 5 hrs. , totally unacceptable. If you treat a customer rudely at check in, don't expect them to come back. The minute my payment came up as a third party tee time , I was treated rudely. Poor customer service, bad pro shop attitude.
