Played early Saturday, helpful staff, fairly open fairways, greens in excellent shape. Fellow players friendly. Foursome in front of us allowed our twosome to play through, though they hadn't held us up. If you're in Cookeville, TN it is good place to get in a round.

Course in good condition though because of rain they hadn't blown clippings, so we had a blower following us. A little disconcerting, but a one time event. Greens a little slow, but in good shape. Staff helpful and friendly.

Course was in good shape. It is a short course with the gold tees only about 4100 yards and the blacks about 5400, but enjoyable to play. As a mediocre golfer and wife playing with a boot, we both played better than our handicap. Greens were a little sparse in places but putting surfaces were relatively true. Water was there but not overly obtrusive. Good value for the money.

Tomoka at first glance was disapointing as rough around the 1st tee box was really rough and overgrown. Once off the tee the fairways were in pretty good shape and very wide and accomodating to a player of my caliber. The greens were small but also in good shape. This is not your immaculate course with paved cart paths and manicured fairways. It is a good value for your money and enjoyable to play.
