The Landing at Pleasant Point
Played On 06/21/2020Greens need MUCH improvement.
Love the course layout but the greens are horrid.
Chunks, gouges, bare spots or linear depressions can be found in the middle of the green on every hole.
Used to play this course often but stopped because the greens never improved.
Drainage and tee boxes are much better but greens are horrible.
Women in the pro shop was not friendly or welcoming.
Putting green was non existent due to same damage as the greens.
Really hope they pull it together.
Shingle Creek Golf Club
Played On 06/17/2019Fun first time; more fun after familiar with layout.
Lots if rain recently. Greens still recovering from aeration. Maintenance around 11th green and 12th tee box caused lots of confusion. 12th tee box was moved and not marked. Different answers as to what the par was 3 or 4. Rest of course was fun and tight in some areas. Score card has course layout but 11&18 were confusing as to where to drive the ball (cant even see 150 marker on 11). I would play again. Staff are very nice and helpful.
The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes
Played On 06/06/2015Golf Now should advise tournements are being held
Made my tee time on Golf Now Friday night. Showed up at 9 Am to find a tournament was just starting. Play was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW.
Greens were thick and slow. Felt like I was putting on the fringe. Weeds were growing on the greens.
Played here same time last year and it was very good. I would not have played had I known a tournament was scheduled.
I would play again because I know they can do better. Staff was excellant.
I stated that you could not see the 150 marker on 11. That was an error. It is actually hole 9.
The turn on this course is after hole 8 not 9 like other courses. Sorry for the error.
